Absolutely fantastic Doctor. Excellent bedside manner and treats you with respect and dignity. He is extremely intelligent, knowledgeable and patient. I can honestly say that I am proud that he is my cardiologist - I feel honoured to be his patient. Just had my surgery 1 1/2 weeks ago and look forward to celebrating my successes with Dr. Verma. Thank you for coming to Southlake Dr. Verma....you are a treasure.

Dr. Atul Verma is, in short, fantastic - both as a surgeon, and as a caring individual. He has always been very informative, very patient in answering questions, and exceptional with any follow-up issues, requirements, etc. Not only that, but he eliminated my PAF through PVI surgery (no recurrence for more than 7 months now!), enabling me to stop my antiarrythmic medication. Soon, I hope to be off my blood thinner too! I would recommend Dr. Verma, PACE Newmarket and Southlake Regional Health Centre (where my surgery was performed) to anyone. NOTE: One should never ever expect a surgeon of Dr. Verma's renown to stick exactly to a schedule; between office hours and surgery hours, he has to be extremely busy, and naturally could be called on at almost any time; to get treatment like I have received, I am more than happy should I have to wait!

The best dr I have ever had to deal with. I put my life in his hands twice now and feel relieved having him as my cardiologists. Highly. Recommend him. Very knowledgeable and bed side.manners are tip top. Staff are great as well. Always there to help you when needed.

This is one of the best doctors I have ever had do deal with! Knowledgeable and very understanding. He made me feel comfortable. I am a 42 yr old lady with two children and I told him I need to be here for my kids, and that he needs to fix me! I was givin information that I was able to read and then ask questions. I would highly recommend him to the very young to the old. Dr Verma you are a great doctor!

Dr. Verma is rated in the top 12 Electrophysiologists in the WORLD. I was grateful to find him working in Newmarket at Southlake. I have found him to be OUTSTANDING in his field. He is extremely knowledgeable. And aggressive with AFIB. He has been very thorough with my AFIB. And when ALL others at other venues failed, Dr. Verma succeeded in bringing me back into NSR since 2011. Have hit a few bumps along the way but Dr. Verma has been my guardian angel and a highly trusted advisor. I cannot imagine what my life would have been had we not had the good fortune of being accepted as a patient. I have (had) severe permanent AFIB. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Verma. Dr. Y. Khaki, also at Southlake/PACE are rated 2 of the top 12 in the world and for good cause. Nude said.

My wife and I had a extraordinary experience witg Dr. Verma. He took an extended period of time to explain and advise..much the opposite of many m.d.s.

I have had terrible experiences with dr.verma. I have had multiple interactions with him in non-emergency situations, and he has never been on time, he has spoken to my wife and I with very short, uncompassionate and disrespectful answers to our questions and concerns about my health. In every emergency situation another doctor has had to 'repair' or 're-do' his handy work after the fact. I can not personally say anything nice about dr.verma.
