I left my appointment angry. This so called doctor was rude and gave me a pop quiz on my history with his clinic (which was in the file) and made fun of me when I did not know the answer. This man should never have been licensed.

I had a huge crush on him when I worked at a bank near Mount Sinai, and he was a resident. He was lovely to me every time he saw me. Our relationship went nowhere as he was only interested in his career.

I had a pleasant experience with Dr. Bergman. I’m not sure why these reviews are so negative. He has a certain type of humor that I guess people can find offensive, but we joked and laughed throughout the appointment. I actually brought up this site and we had a convo about it as well.

He analyzed my face and told me my skin is perfect. He said he has patients that are in their 20s that don’t have as good skin as mine (I’m 40) So he said I needed nothing. I did push to get some aging spots and what not removed to which he agreed to do - the price he charged was also very very very reasonable. My point is, he’s not trying to upsell or make money off you. I think he’s a great dermatologist and will definitely be coming back to see him!

Not unless you are desperate. Avoid if possible. Rude Aggressive abrasive. Pretty office. No manners. There must be other choices.

Bargman is 10/10 creepy.
He wanted me to take off my shirt even though the issue I had was only on my hands.

The most unpleasant, ornery mean-spirited doctor /person that I have ever encountered in my life. He tried to make me feel like every question I asked was stupid, and I’m am not stupid. I think he gets off on making patents feel bad. There is something deeply wrong with Dr. Bargman. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. How he has managed to keep a practice with his manner is beyond me. And he is a university professor - wow- I imagine he is cruel to his students too.

Awfully rude - had a resident student with him and treated me like I was some kind of specimen. Didn't even ask if I felt comfortable having another person in the room. When I asked him about the observations he pointed out to the resident student, he just shrugged it off and said it "was nothing".

When I asked him to explain his diagnoses, he just said "there's nothing you can do about it" and try to brush me off. As he was writing a letter back to my doctor, he didn't bother to explain the contents and quite condescendingly said "there's probably terms in there you won't understand, but just Google them if you're interested".

When I asked him if he minded me asking another question, he said "Yes, I'm in the middle of writing the letter back to your doctor". Seemed to be in a rush to finish my appointment before it even began. Made a "promise" in the end that any leftover questions could be asked with another appointment, but the problem is it already took half a year to schedule an appointment!

I wish the website had an option for bedside manners. I would give it a negative 20. I wish I“be read the reviews before I went. Horrible rude demeaning attitude. Wouldn’t even talk to me before I agreed to pay for procedure. This doctor should not practice. I only hope that whatever he did to me won’t hurt me in a long run. Thanks God there are many other dermatologists in town. I am NEVER going back to see this guy again.

Writing a review for Dr Bargman is hard. The very first time that i met him for acne was about 13 years ago. My acne was very bad and the appointment stressed me out afterwards. He was aggressive and pushed cryotherapy as a solution for a cyst that I had.
I continued to visit Dr Bargman over the years and realized with most individuals with a hard exterior that he had a caring side and might just be hardened from life or being in his practice for so long.
I researched him and also realized that he is probably one of the best dermatologists in Ontario maybe even Canada. He’s been practicing for something like 40 years, he’s a professor at UofT in dermatology, he’s the head of laser treatment in Ontario and my family doctor recommends only her toughest acne cases to him. I’ve also heard of him diagnosing people with serious illnesses and saving their life by noticing skin issues.
The appointments with Dr Bargman will be very brief. He’ll perscribe you the perfect medication or treatment for that problem and leave.
