I'm sure he is great with other people but we have had an absolutely no success with him. If you suffer from a more serious case of UC please do your research and find that Henry Ford health does not rank very high for Gi. My Fiance was diagnosed with UC last year and so far been in the hospital multiple times. He put her on remicade without even doing the proper blood work to see if it would even work. Had he done so he would have realized remicade would never work for her. She took it for 3 months suffered from hair loss and lupus before he put her back on a high dose of steroids which she then had to ween off of again which not only took another few months to do but just added to the risk of steroid dependancy which 4 months later she is. We are high tailing it out of henry ford asap and going to a real hospital at either u of m or out of state. Look it up Henry Ford Macomb is only ranked 15 in the state and a recommendation percent of 66 percent which is TERRIBLE.

Dr. Peleman is a great gastro doctor, I think he is one of the best in the Metro Detroit area!
