I have done two postings about Dr Paul Taylor on the Neurospine Institute, the first was written on the 20/12/2023. The second was after he rang me and threatened me. This man is Arrogant, he belittles you, blames the Patient, he has had constant complaints over 4 years, that was stated by his own secretary Jess. When do the patients see RESPONSIBILITY, DUTY Of CARE by this man . I could be wrong, it seems to me, people on Workers Compensation are the ones wearing his lack of RESPONSIBILITY, DUTY Of CARE. I think it's time for his own Management to take a good look at Dr Paul Taylor.

I had a consultation a couple of months ago and am having a procedure on 25th Nov. I have just read the comments below and must say that I became concerned at the latest comments. I became relieved as I read further down the list. I found Paul to be friendly and very helpful and not at all arrogant as some have suggested. I was concerned about having an op on my back, but he made me feel relaxed about it and I am looking forward to getting some relief after 35 years of back troubles. He is someone that you can have a joke with, but I guess some people could take that the wrong way. At this stage I have no issues with him.

Performed lower back fusion which went fine, did everything i was asked post op for the 3 months but the follow up appointment after 3 months he was more concerned by his rating on the app he uses than my issues. Told me I was obsessive and my pain was all in my head, spoke with such arrogance with no empathy. Both myself and my wife felt very embarrassed. Needs to lose the ego and get back to helping patients if that is what he is there to do.

Do yourself a favour and never see this man, I’d rather live with chronic pain then ever be spoken to that way again.

Paul Taylor, I pray you get what you deserve one day

An amazing surgeon, he got me in very quickly and removed the ruptured part of my disc, the pain was gone immediately and I’ve had no other surgery related issues. He’s very up front which is great for me as I miss things when doctors aren’t painfully clear.

Dr Taylor is an excellent neurosurgeon and really great genuine guy. After tolerating an L5S1 herniated disc for around 10 years with periodic flare ups and physio giving mixed results, my GP referred me to Dr Taylor. Paul has a “spade a spade” manner which I really like, but is also conservative in his approach and I never felt any pressure to proceed. You can tell he really enjoys improving peoples quality of life. He answered several rounds of questions over email and phone to put my mind at ease and post op pain was amazingly minimal. You can barely see my scar! Great to meet you Paul and thx for putting your skills to good work on my back!

I'm on 6th day post op now, I have done a C5C6 level ADR. Dr. Taylor saw my case, I had this neck, shoulder, this pain across my chest that would come and disappear, it would change sides, had no numbness, no arm pain, no tingling, the pain was horrible at night, affected my sleep so much. I was very sceptical to operate, I was scared, I had only been experiencing pain for a relatively short amount of time 8(weeks), Dr. Taylor saw me once, I had an MRI from apex, after the first visit and talking to Dr. Taylor he requested an MRI from a provider that he was very specific about, second visit he assured me that I needed a surgery done. Again, I was very nervous, I was still hoping my symptoms would go away but I decided to go in. I had all sorts of questions for him, up until surgery day I had another 3 or 4 he answered all of them and just told me let me go to work I can fix you up. I trusted his confidence and I am good, the day after surgery he told me it was a success he said I will have no symptoms, from the moment I woke up up until now the only pain I ever felt was related to the incision point. Can't thank Dr. Taylor enough, I am 37 years old I got a lot of life ahead of me and thanks to guys like this who have studied so much, who have the skills, passion to bring results like this to another human. THANK YOU

I have been extremely fortunate to have Paul complete my L4-5 and L2-3 fusions in 2016 and then my C5-6 fusion in 2020. In all cases, was an excellent outcome. Can’t speak highly enough of Paul’s abilities and professionalism. He is truly a highly talented and respected surgeon?

Recent appointment with Dr Paul Taylor went really well. I had so many questions for him regarding my Spinal Surgery, after my Doctor telling new my pain was “old age” and I had to live with it after 5 years of pain which wasn’t improving. Dr Taylor was so easy to talk to and explained everything in a pleasant and professional manner. I was apprehensive about my appointment after reading some of the scathing reviews. I’m having surgery after the 12 month waiting period for a Pre existing condition with the health fund. Very impressed with Dr Taylor’s professional manner and not feeling rushed through the appointment.
