Beyond unethical. Should loose his practice for the absolute devastation he causes his patients.

Although we may not agree on everything Dr Okereke is one of the best. He’s understanding, takes time to listen to his patients and looks at the full picture. He has worked with me this year to get off my psych meds and I am having success. He has a good plan in place for weaning off meds and understands life’s challenges. I do think overall he relies more on medication than needed but need to remind myself this guy deals with serious psych problems each day. He is doing his job to protect his patients. Our medical system is completely overwhelmed unfortunately.

won't talk to primary care giver likes to solve things with drugs spends very little time with patient will make you involuntary if you leave and come back to talk

He had an attitude that showed life is not what happens but what you make of it or simply how you respond to it. He shows the knowledge and know-how of a well-seasoned psychiatrist. People probably just hate him because he tells the truth. He is not a bad psychiatrist by any means was very professional in my interactions with him. Some people can't integrate what is in front of them with the reality within their minds, he doesn't come across that way. Although he failed to generate a consistent diagnosis that accurately described all my symptoms thus misdiagnosis, believe me, there are way worser doctors out there and my condition is pretty tricky due to how rare it is. The profession of being a doctor us only high paying because very few people can or want to do it. You are trading for a walk-on part for a lead role in a cage for the rest of your career. Who would want to or has the ability to communicate the truth to someone who comforts themselves using their imagination. People don't like hearing the truth. No matter how frustrated you are, even to the point where you post the lowest possible rating on here to vent out your frustration, these people will still be employed by the government because things would be a Gong show if there were no doctors to take care of the mentally disabled. There is no other choice but to persist with these doctors knowing they could improve and get better.

Complete disregard for the patient bordering on contempt. Utterly indifferent about the wellbeing of the people under his care. If Sunday even is a Doctor, he is the worst kind imaginable.

He is unethical, he would rather prescribe a pill with side effects and then another pill for those side effects. Hes been toying with my discharge date ever since i've been in the hospital.

Knows his stuff well enough to function as a cog in the Western system. Anything requiring him to raise up above the currents is well beyond his abilities. That said, if you do not fall under the average patient, you will likely just be labelled and put on medication.

I am very grateful this Doctor took care of me during my Weed an Crystal Meth abuse and addiction among other less frequent drugs....I was almost losing it completely but His response to my case and quick understanding of my behaviours helped him to prescribe appropriately for me and once when I realised a previous med worked better than a newly introduced one...he took a short time to get me back on the better drug. Only issue I may have is him being on the higher side reliant on forever medication. I wish He'd get more knowledgeable on when and how get people off meds if they can live without them like I do now...perfectly fine health wise by YHVH grace. If he's able to get to that level....I think he's perfect really. Cos people aren't in my opinion to live on meds forever. That's abuse of its own even if it may be sustaining something but that's the same logic of self addictions. Love u Dr. Okereke hope u get greater.

I'm not sure why everyone rated Sunday so terribly? My only critique is that he may have stereotyped me, based on my looks. I thought he was an excellent Doctor. He called me on my BS, and he gave me great advice. Thank you Doctor Okereke! :)
