This Gastroenterology Consultant who's qualifications were gained with distinction (see web site) did an absolutely brilliant job of my total colectomy (removal of the colon) taking several hours and took the absolutely correct decision to perform my Parkes Pouch operation in the same hospital stay due to gushing from the stoma, despite being the first time in 65 of those procedures he had done so. The operations while life-threatening and extremely taxing and difficult to recover from nevertheless went brilliantly and improved greatly on my quality of life. If only the GP I had at the time and others (with one wonderful exception) had treated me as well the tragic subsequent break-up of my family from, essentially iatrogenic causes and the traumatic consequences of stresses that could have been avoided with more sensitive and insightful medical care could have been avoided. It is due to such poor G.P. treatment I decided to post reviews of all my recent doctors. Mr Stebbings rates A++
