I had an appointment with Dr. Friesen as a first time client. Firstly, even though I have insurance they would not take x-rays but requested they get the last x-rays I had (over 2 years ago) from a Dentist I saw previously. I made a disparaging comment about that Clinic and the Receptionist kept asking questions which I answered. For everything I said the Receptionist made an excuse for the previous Clinic's behaviour. When I told her I had already made a complaint to the Canadian Dental Association about the Clinic she went to the back. When she came back she told me that Dr. Friesen had conveniently been called away on a family matter. I suppose that this was possible, but I highly doubt it. In my opinion Dr. Friesen is an amoral, immoral coward.

Have been there lots in the past. Today I had my teeth cleaned by Heidi and as usual she was excellent, explained to me what I had to do to keep my teeth and gums in good condition. I've had ( over the years ) different Hygienist. but she performs and does her job better than anyone else I've ever had before. I personally would recommend her for her ability and knowledge. Quite the caring person when it comes to oral hygiene.

iDental center has the best staff, making each visit a great experience. They go above and beyond to maintain a clean environment, are very patient oriented, efficient, and kind. My whole family enjoys visits to the dentist because of Dr Friesen, Dr Norrie, and their team!

A 110% recommendation for Dr. Friesen and all the I Dental staff!.... a dental visit here is an entire "stress free experience" from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. The professional and knowledgeable care from Dr. Friesen, patient empathy, modern state of the art treatment procedures, availability in case of emergencies, and trust makes this "Pain Free" dentist the one to whom I'll be going for many years to come. I am 71 years of age and have been to many dentists over the past 7 decades;....what's that old saying- - - - "You save the Best till last" is so true regarding my lifetime of dental care!! I can recommend 100% both Dr. Travis Friesen and the staff at the iDental centre. My own experience in the clinic and the care I have received is absolutely fantastic. I have all my life feared dental visits but I can sincerely say that Dr. Travis took away all that fear. He is so gentle yet thorough and extremely considerate in treating his patients with the minimal amount of discomfort. He really cares for his patients and treats them professionally. I have only good experiences with all manners of oral treatment that I have received at the hands of the Hygienists as well as Dr. Friesen. I was so pleased to have the Panoramic X-ray at the start of my visit it was through this procedure that a possible major problem was revealed. I had no pain whatsoever but my jaw bone was being eaten away by two cysts. I was in danger of biting on an apple and it could so easily break my jaw now only about 1mm thick. Dr. Travis' deep concern and speedy response ensured that
I received the absolute best treatment that I so badly needed. I cannot commend the clinic more highly in my recommendation to anyone who is seeking a trustworthy, caring, sincere, gentle, pleasant and professional dentist and dental clinic. The staff is absolutely amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I am so happy I started coming here. My previous dentist would yell and scream at his staff and myself but Dr Friesen is way nicer. The rest of the staff are helpful as well and very cheerful. He explained everything to me regarding my treatment in detail. Even though he is downtown, his treatment is worth the drive, the parking and the wait. I highly recommend him to anyone whose looking for a new dentist. So incredibly happy I have him as my dentist

Was a long time pt of Dr. Vinsky -went to see Dr. Friesen a couple times. Good dentist -my favorite hygienist from Dr. V no longer working there?? Other hygienists too pushy Office staff not professional-other receptionist not working there either?? She was knowledgeable friendly and helpful. Not sure I will go back to Dr Friesen -downtown inconvenient -and he charges too much

Dr Friesen does good work but the dental hygienists are always pushing x-rays. Maybe they get a commission. It should be the dentist who is diagnosing or addressing an issue who should recommend an x-ray, not the hygienist.

Dr. Friesen is a gentle, quick working dentist. He is usually on time and I never am in there longer than I have to be. I have no issues with him. It's his staff. The front receptionist the other day starting ridiculing where I live, which is non of her business, right? They also moved my appointment time to an earlier time, without consulting me first. If it wasn't for Dr. Friesen, I would be switching dentists.

Dr Friesen is an amazing dentist, he only recommends to do the required dental work needed for my best oral health which is so much appreciated. I know I have not looked after my oral health as I should have and I really respect him as he does not make me feel bad, he encourages me to do what is best for me and my oral health. He has been treating me for a few years and I must say he is definitely the Best dentist I have ever had, I will never look for another dentist and I highly recommend his services to all my friends and family. Thank you Dr.Friesen!!!
