Dr. Chusid has been our Pediatrician for 29 yrs. We love and respect him. NOT once in all these years was he ever rude or obnoxious, nor was I or my children to him . He has ALWAYS been compassionate, empathetic and dedicated! I took my job as a mother with the utmost importance and I have been blessed to have the honor and privilege of THE BEST pediatrician .

As a medical professional, I wonder if this doctor has the temperment to be a pediatrician lately. I love all the signs in his office regarding his "office policies." Last I looked they numbered at least 50. His temperment and attitude is wearing thin on me and my spouse. We are changing pediatricians and should have done this a while ago.

Yes, he is rough around the edges and tells it just like he sees it, but he is an excellent diagnostician. If you can't take bluntness, go elsewhere, but if your kids are sick, he is an excellent doctor. Get a thicker skin, get your kids well and you'll be fine with Dr. Chusid.

I only went to him once and I have to admit he was a little rough around the edges but he saved my sons life so I have all good things to say here people. When it comes to knowledge he's the best pedatrician, no correction, best Doctor I have ever come across. We were going around for months to the er, to different doctors and everyone kept telling us my son just has a virus, it'll go away, or worse, "theirs nothing wrong with him". I thought I was losing my mind when finally my sister-in-law suggested we go to him. We had to drive an hour+ to get to his office but totally worth it! This man walked into the room and dignosed him almost instantly and sent us in the right direction (a pediatric neorologist). I don't care how rude or obnoxious he or his staff are, we still need more doctor like him who actually are smart and knowlegable in thier field, not just half ass ones that barely passed their exams so they can make a s@#t load of money.

Spare me the crap people. He's an 'okay' doctor. That's all. He is VERY rough around the edges but this B.S. that he's a 'great physician' is a joke. Telling it "like it is"...is one thing. But being obnoxious and rude ALL THE TIME is another. This man rec'd his medical degree in Guadalajara Mexico...a frickin RESORT town. And, you'd think he went to Harvard the way he acts towards the parents in his office. This 'angry' charm that you mother's have with him is very misdirected. Unfortunately, my wife likes him but I don't. All I've heard for the last 15 years from people is that he is impolite and offensive.."but that's okay because he tells it like it is". Oh really? So admonishing a mother in front of an office full of people because she brought her kid into his office with a fever without trying a dose a Moltrine first makes his actions right? This guy is okay when it comes to diagnosing a problem. But he's really built up this 'act' and ran all the way to the bank with it.

He's a royal pain in the ass! He's a bully and impatient. Funny how a person like that can be such a great doctor. I wouldn't trust the care of my children to anyone else. He has a "holds no barred" attitude, and tells it like it is. He genuinely cares about his kids, despite his gruff manner. I would advocate him to strong willed people.. lol If you are sensitive, have thin skin, or tend to take things too seriously.. go elsewhere.
