I started going here when my doctor left the country. My previous physician was amazing. I was forced to find a new one and came here.
The general staff and female assistants are all amazing. The male nurses or assistants are, unfortunately, generally condescending and rude or at the very least unfriendly.
There used to be a great NP that was very knowledgeable and kind. I began seeing her when the practice became over-large. Unfortunately, a few years back I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Cockley when, instead of doing any testing on me, he made a decision based on just looking at my swollen lymph nodes. Soon after that I began gaining new symptoms. Over the past few years I have quickly gained a variety of symptoms that, if the original dx had been properly made, I believe it would not elude us now.
Note: when I originally went in I hadn't been to the doc in a couple years because I was so rarely ill.
The new NP (great one left the practice) ignored all my symptoms and treated them as imaginary, however.
Now, I have severe neuropathy that has moved from just one toe to both feet and hands, severe headaches, kidney disease for no apparent reason, chronic pain, hand tremors, vision problems, and constant tinnitus, to name a few problems. I recently fired this family practice, after being told it was a "problem" to switch who I'm seeing there. I now see a doc who immediately changed one med I'm on which helped immensely. I'm finally being tested to find out what is going on.
The staff here is friendly and really tries to help. But you won't get any medical help.
