First, I know my limitations and would never place myself or others in harm’s way. As part of the post-offer process for employment as a cardboard/plastic recycler with Rooms To Go, a physical was performed by Catherine Puckett in the occupational health department. Unfortunately during the examination Catherine determined, without any questions that I had a Hiatal hernia which disqualified me immediately from employment. I advised her that I had heart surgery, what she was observing was a post incisional surgery hernia. I had a full release without any physical restrictions by my Doctor and Cardiologist. I offered to provide a release letter from my doctor to Catherine but the option was denied.

In the weeks following, I have seen both of my outstanding superstar practitioners and they listened to my concerns with Catherine’s diagnosis. Their conclusion was the same; oddly stating that she was looking for something. I can share today the news that I’m gainfully employed with a retail DC and they are very, very happy with her diagnosis. :)

My advice to Catherine is to step away from a boxed daily routine and focus on the skill of active learning. Hope this helps in your future adventures!

I’m giving 5 stars towards the staff in the DC… From their vast DC knowledge and experience, they recognized my skills and abilities with a job offer on the spot during the interview.
