Incredible doctor and human being. The best around

Dr. Hamrin has been an essential component to my own personal growth, mental stability, and overall clarity I have found in my life since I began seeing her. While the medications she prescribed me were extremely helpful, the skills she has helped me to build in order to deal with my mental state including conflict resolution skills, gaining a more insightful perspective on the situation, and being able to talk through my issues rather than bottling them up has helped exponentially. She is extremely empathetic and understanding of my situations and struggles. I can tell she really cares about how I am doing in my life and is there to only help me improve and grow into a better version of myself. However, I have also had to put in the work towards my own growth and mental stability just as she has done to help me to get where I am today. There is work on both sides in therapy, but she makes the work on my side much easier, and therefore, I have been much more willing to work on myself while being in therapy. She has helped me find the clarity that other therapist/doctors have not been able to, and I am excited to see her when I have an appointment. I feel very lucky to have her on my side and to be in her office getting the help I need. I plan to continue seeing her for as long as I can. She has helped in situations that I did not know I needed help with, and that is something I value while in therapy.

I was very uncertain about entering into therapy, but Dr. Hamrin helped so much right away. Now years later, I can’t imagine where I might have ended up without her care and support. As a result of her treatment, recommendations and support, I am a better wife, mother, daughter and friend because of her care. I cannot recommend Dr. Hamrin highly enough!

Dr. Hamrin is fantastic! She is equal parts experienced, comforting, and professional. I cannot recommend her enough. Her practical solutions to tackling (in my case) depression have been profoundly lasting.

Dr. Hamrin is an excellent and professional clinician. Her clinical experience and knowledge about depression/treatments is unsurpassed! Wow, read her bio!! We have worked with 4 other professionals n the last few years for our 21 yo son and she (by far) surpasses them all!!!! He relates very well to her and trusts her-knowing she is on his side, whatever it takes. She has been a true God-send for our family, as mental illness affects the whole family. She has also met with us a few times at the beginning of his sessions. She is so reassuring! I am very thankful we found Dr. Hamrin for our son. She has truly helped him!!!

Over the past five decades I have suffered from severe depression and have seen numerous mental health professionals. I can honestly say that I wish I had met Dr. Hamrin first. She is the most caring and the most effective mental health practitioner I know. Dr. Hamrin brings to her practice an impressive balance between empathy and academics. She listens intently to understand what you feel and then applies her significant clinical experience to help you develop the appropriate behavioral responses. Dr. Hamrin makes this balance work seamlessly. As stated earlier, I’ve worked with many health care professionals over the years and Dr. Hamrin is not only the most effective, she is the most caring and empathetic. I have recommended Dr. Hamrin to others in the past and will continue to do so.

Dr. Hamrin is an extremely strong clinician who also exhibits exceptional interpersonal skills. Her insights and treatment regimens have a been a true blessing to our family. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring professional who balances various therapies to reach patients' treatment goals.
