My doctor had left the practice 1/2016 and Dr Roberts was booked out until March for an appointment. A week prior to this appointment date, I was called and informed that she was no longer available on that date and the next available opening was mid July. 7 months to get into see a doctor for a check up??
In the meantime, I had thrown out my back and I submitted a request for the prescription refill of prednisone and flexural through the patient portal on a Sunday morning (which was effective the last time this happened last summer & was listed on my medical chart. ). I didn't hear anything on Monday morning and called the office to check the status of the refill. I was told that they never received my request and would process it immediately since I was in excruciating pain and couldn't walk. I called the office several times and was promised that they just needed to have Dr. Roberts approval for the refill. Several hours went by and I called again at 4pm. I was told that Dr Roberts was very busy and probably didn't have time to look at my note. Also, that she probably wouldn't approve it anyway since she hasn't seen me as a patient. I tried to explain to her that I had attempted to see her and my appointment was rescheduled by her office.
Long story short, I went to the ER and was able to get my prescriptions and was practically pain free by the next morning.
I would never recommend Dr. Roberts and have since changed my care provider.
