I loved my experience at Advanced Metabolic. I especially loved Roya Jannesari. I'm so glad I finally made an appointment and am on the right path to perfect health! I wish I saw her 10 years ago. She was very patient and knowledgeable and took the time to address my entire list of questions. :)

AMCR Escondido is about as bad as it gets. The small staff that works there is completely incompetent. They don't know which end is up. To try and get through to a receptionist is easily a 30 min wait. It's not uncommon to be on hold over an hour. As far as Roya goes, she is a decent nurse practitioner, but nothing close to great. I feel you would be much better off with Dr. Baily, if you can ever get in to see him. Everyone is so over booked there that typically any new patients go straight to Roya (who is there only 2 days a week). My experiences there have been awful. Go somewhere else!

The office staff is absolutely awful. They have no clue what they are doing: prescriptions, referrals, even getting a simple message to Roya or any other Dr. there. Roya is very nice & seems to know what she is talking about, but she is extremely difficult to get a hold of. She's never in the office and to get a return call take take 2 weeks (if you're lucky)! If I had any other option...I'd go somewhere else.

Roya is actually very nice. Great doctor. Her staff is totally inept bordering on civil negligence. I put in a complaint with my insurance. Although the doctor is good, it will take a patient minimum of 6 hours of time for the 10 minutes with the doctor...especially if there is any lab work or prescriptions involved.
