I was a past patient at Floral Medical Arts in Floral Park. I would like to say that there is a wonderful front desk / billing staff. They are always helpful, kind and very very accomidating. There are a few things about this office that i find unprofessional … for example, the doctor yelling at the front desk or the patients, it is very rude and disrespectful. Also, i find at times the doctor steps out for very long time periods holding up the appointments. Recently i had waited over an hour to get in to see the doctor for my appointment…i heard him yelling the girls downstairs and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable almost to the point when i wanted to walk out. The waiting room does not have any form of entertainment which would've made that hour go by much faster. When i finally got into the room i was put on therapy ( muscle stimulation pads). The Doctor hooked me up and then left…after about 20 minutes the sound went off signaling that the therapy was done. It kept going until one of the front desk workers came in to shut it off and then i waited another 10 minutes to see the doctor. I have no idea why the wait was so long considering there was only 2 patients including myself in the office at this time. When the doctor came in to adjust me it was a very fast adjustment. Overall Dr.Rupolo did help me to feel better but i do think that the office could be ran more in an organized manner. As upset as i was when i left,the girls at the front desk helped me to book my next appointment and other appointments with other doctors in the facility…the girls gave a reassuring vibe saying they were sorry and that this would never happen again. I hope that this staff is appreciated for all that they do. With a little work this office can be ran much more smoothly and satisfying.
