After my mastectomy, she lied to me about where my close margin of cancer was without letting me see a pathology report, which I confirmed later with a different doctor. She subsequently pushed radiation, and medication. She bullied me into taking chemotherapy, which gave me severe side effects. When I went to see the radiologist about the radiation, he didn't see why radiology was necessary, because there was nothing left to radiate. I was not told about the side effects of the meds, including bone loss, incontinence (wetting the bed!) and memory loss. I now have arthritis and I was in my 40's when I took the medication. Once I had my mastectomy, I was not allowed to see the doctor anymore, only the NP. After getting a second opinion about taking the medication, other doctors said that because my cancer was noninvasive I was overtreated with the medication, because although the meds cut my chance of recurrence in half, it didn't cut my chance of dying from the recurrence. I don't believe a person that uses scare tactics to treat a cancer patient should be practicing medicine in an oncology setting.
