Julie is the most compassionate person who has ever cared for me. She made me feel like she really cared about me and my family. The staff at her new office are SO MUCH NICER!! She is very good at what she does.

I hate leaving negative reviews, I really do... But I was very frustrated with my experience. I sat in the waiting room for 80 minutes, already feeling miserable- it probably would've been even longer but a girl in front of me left because she had already been waiting for an hour and a half. I came to Ms. Hillyer with a nasty ear infection I had been suffering from for a week already, and even she seemed shocked at the gory details (which I'll leave out.) She thought my ear drum was ruptured, but couldn't see because of all that was in there. Scary & nasty. She gave me a strong prescription oral antibiotic and sent me on my way. I was surprised because common sense told me that my ear needed to be cleaned out, and an antibiotic needed to be applied directly as an ear drop... But what do I know? So I went home on this Friday afternoon, and was told to come back in a week. I just had this feeling that I was almost a guinea pig- "Try this and I'll make another guess to give you something else when that doesn't work!" I had the feeling that she was very unsure about the situation. I wish she would've just referred me to a specialist right then and there instead of guessing.
It got significantly worse by Sunday, so I just went to the ER. There, they referred me to an Ear Nose & Throat Specialist in town.. And FINALLY, I had relief!! He cleaned my ear out, gave me antibiotic ear drops, and I literally had instant relief. Long story short, don't go to this office if you have a problem. Go straight to a specialist, and save your health, time, and money.

Julie is a great practitioner! I never liked going to doctors but I don't mind a bit. She's very caring and not judgmental
