I have been a patient of Dr. McClelland's for about 35 years, in fact, my entire family has been. He feels like a family friend to us as well as our dr. He's patient, kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and his instincts are spot on. Hope he never retires!

I never write reviews, but I absolutely had to in this case. This review is regarding the very poor experience I had with Nurse Jennifer. I became a patient here last year. Nurse Alex was who I saw on a regular basis. He was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, Alex left to go to another practice. I called today to get my prescriptions refilled like I've done several times in the past. This time, it was Nurse Jennifer. I thought this was going to be a routine appointment. Next thing I know, I'm being told that I'm no longer allowed to take the medications that have been helping me for the past year, and that I need to go to a different Doctor's office to get my prescriptions. As if that's not enough, she was uncaring and unsympathetic to my situation. I know it sounds crazy, but she was talking to me like she was my mother rather than a nurse, and I can guarantee you by listening to her voice she's around the same age as I am. Before I could even finish what I was trying to say she hung up on me. Unbelievable! Talk about being counterproductive! Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that nurses were supposed to help improve your quality of life, not bring it down. She obviously follows the latter. The silver lining to this awful experience is that there are many other doctor's offices in town that will be more than willing to help me, and I've already found one. I will never go to this office for care ever again!

Although he specializes in geriatrics my whole family uses him as our family doctor. He always listens to you and does not rush you along. I wish I had found him sooner. His staff is so nice. I’ve left other doctors in the past due to staff so I’m so delighted to go here.
