Julie Knapka CRNP, She only cares about lab #'s and not how the patient actually feels on the medicine dosage. All was good until recently. Apparently she would rather drop her patients for not feeling well than to adjust the medicine so they do feel good regardless of lab #'s. There needs to be a balance between lab #'s and patient well being. If lab #'s aren't dangerous and patient is feeling good then why mess with dosage? She blamed my symptoms on other problems I have including past psych problems which low levels of my problem would cause psych problems but apparently she doesn't think so. I was experiencing negative physical effects from lowered dosage but she said my lab #'s were 'normal". What may be "normal" for one person may not be for another and again she doesn't seem to get it. Since my labs were 'normal' she thinks I should be too. That's not good practice especially since it put me and other people at risk while driving because I felt really tired, had mild brain fog/forgetfulness and felt like I was going to doze off or something and had a hard time adjusting my eyes. All I wanted was my old dosage back because I felt better (with slightly elevated levels) but I guess if it's not her way it's the highway... Time to find another because she pretty much said if i didn't comply with the dosage she prescribed then she doesn't want to see me anymore.
