I was a mess when I met Dr. Gelber. He helped organize all of my prescriptions and has tweaked it to near perfect. He is always pleasant and professional, I have seen him more in video chats then in person, which makes everything convenient. He is the best psychiatrist I have been to, I have seen Dr. Gelber for fifteen years. I have been depression free for for most of that time. So I am thankful for Dr. Gelber and Highly recommend him.

I have to agree that Dr. Gelber tries to make patients feel badly about themselves, is not responsive, and money hungry.

My medication regimen is not overly complicated however Dr. Gelber did make adjustments which have helped me. I find him to be easy to talk to and he offers good, insightful comments. He also takes a holistic approach, encouraging behavioral changes (start therapy, activities etc) that I appreciate/find useful as meds are not the answer to everything.

Dr. Gelber has been very effective in treating my cousin's emerging problems with mood and opposition, since beginning high school. Dr. Gelber's expertise is matched only by his commitment to his patients, readily advocating for my cousin, when we were in need. He is kind, patient, and understanding, making it easy to confide in him. My cousin was resistant to treatment, until he met with Dr. Gelber. I highly recommend him to anyone!!

Dr. Gelber back in 2007 was Director of a community-based team of health practitioners who do in-home visits. I questionned his Professonalism- I only saw him in the team's office. 1) During one visit with him, I was stunned. He said to me, "I'm not going to call the ambulance on you today!" First, there was absolutely NO reason to do that! I was well-groomed, quiet, compliant, and not acting out! Secondly, such a comment is just a "power play," and pointed out to me that he was/is just plain insecure- 2. I did get a copy of my health records from his office. He had written alot of incorrect information down about me including a) that I had frequent hospital admissions - up to 7 a year! Totally untrue! Why did he exaggerate? b) that I have a Masters Degree from a local Community College-Wrong! Community Colleges ONLY award Associate Degrees, c) that I was poorly groomed! Incorrect. I was NOT brought up that way and rarely waiver fro
