I believe this woman should not be allowed to practice . I dont't know if it's her age or she's been doing this her whole career ,taking people's money and not doing a thing .There is not one issue that i am there for with my children being addressed. Individual therapy with the children should get to the heart of their issues, not have their manipulative mother in the room to guide the conversation .This alleged doctor is incapable of practicing ! She should be tested for competancy by any licensing group that allows her to practice !!!!!!!

I agree with the previous poster. Dr. Kennedy was NOT helpful at all. I saw her twice, and instead of helping me deal with my self-esteem and relationship issues, she spent the whole time telling me what I should eat, that I was very pretty, and that I would eventually find someone. She also sat behind her desk for our entire sessions and answered the phone and had conversations every time it rang. She should not have license to practice mental health.

I thought I had finally found a therapist to help me with my eating disorder. Dr (?? I didn't know she was a PhD) Kennedy claimed to practice CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy, which is proven to help with OCD and Anorexia/Bulimia. Instead, she insisted on focusing on #s, calories, weights...telling me to not gain any weight because I was "perfect" where I am (I am underweight). Then, on my 2nd visit, she wouldn't stop talking about nutrition. I let her know that I knew plenty about nutrition and that is not why I was there to see her. She proceeded to compare me to other patients and share stories about "some anorexics" that she has treated who were "so skinny" that they wore a "size 4!" - I then told her I was a size 2. She looked flabbergasted and then told me that I "wore it well." She told me, an anorexia/bulimic with body dysmorphia, that I was a fat skinny person. I left hysterically crying. She should be put out of business.
