Kathy is a breath of fresh air when it comes to maternity care. She is the Ina May Gaskin of Iowa! She gets to know your family on an extremely personal level. As another reviewer said, she is more like friend. Our family loves her and we will definitely be birthing again with her should be have any more children.

Kathy has been the midwife for a couple of my children. She is very caring, devoted and more like a friend than a medical professional. She seems to have ample enough time despite her very busy schedule to make sure that all your concerns are addressed. I would recommend Kathy for the above mentioned reasons and as well her personal care and assessment to analyze the entire situation is par excellence. Her expertise and knowledge is superb, in summary I have very high regard and had very positive experiences with Kathy. If you are looking to have a home birth Kathy is definitely the way to go.
