** PLEASE READ ** IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS, I WOULD! Holly Shearman is a CROOK. I seriously cannot believe the experience I had with my first pregnancy. Let me tell you this, being my first pregnancy, I was unaware of the things I should avoid (foods, working out, etc.) Holly did not inform me of this AT ALL, instead she asked, "Do you have any questions for me." As a midwife, I expected her to be more helpful to a first-time mom. After attending my initial appointment, I ended up having a miscarriage. We had PAID FULL in cash to get a discount at our first appointment. WHEN IT FINALLY CAME TO ASKING FOR A REFUND, she started avoiding our phone calls and emails. We would call the office and they never had an answer. A month later, her husband got in contact with us to try and solve the issue. She violated HIPPA by telling her husband my personal information!! They took 1000$ from us without giving us a breakdown for it! UNBELIEVABLE. There is no information of a miscarriage in her contract! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I almost died due to negligence on her part. Please do not submit yourselves into Holly's care. Be safe and go to a Doctor.

Holly Shearman was my midwife in 2012 with my first baby. My husband and I interviewed her just liked her immediately. She gave us plenty of time at my prenatal visits and you could tell she enjoyed them as much as i did. She was available any time I needed her and she made me feel very confident and safe when it came time to give birth. She helped me have an amazing birth with no complications. I did have a mild tear which she took care of with ease. She did a very good job. I also needed antibiotics in labor for GBS, which she took care of. She is a very good balance of natural and medical if necessary. i can't wait for my second baby so I can have her as my midwife again.

I am a birth doula and childbirth educator and I've supported three families who used Holly as their midwife. As a birth worker, I know when a midwife knows her craft, when she honors the midwifery model of care, or doesn't, and when she cares for and trusts her clients. Holly is the real deal. She is caring and compassionate (she named her homebirth business well), she is knowledgeable, she is supportive of doulas and recognizes our role in the birth process as a crucial role. She is also very open and welcoming of Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis, which is what I teach and what was used by the families I served with her. She is a wonderful midwife, friend, and birth advocate!

Holly Shearman was my midwife for my first pregnancy in 2012. All my prenatal visits were with Holly, and I felt she took plenty of time at each visit to answer all my questions. In addition, I was able to call, text, or email Holly with any concerns and she responded immediately. She even took extra steps to help me figure out some strange symptoms and followed up with me. The birth was very well handled - there were some difficulties, but I felt I could trust her completely. She was open to transferring me to the hospital in delivery because of some difficulties but she was able to lead me through delivering naturally and with no complications. Her management of my labor and delivery was confident and compassionate, and I felt completely safe with her ability. Postpartum care has been attentive and it is obvious she cares for my well being and that of my son and husband.
