Julie was rated one of the best care provider among her peers, including doctors. Her care was so great. I can see why she got that rating. She left parkview because they made her choose between much needed knowledgeable care for the Amish or working for a fast paced money driven medical group. She chose to go solo and care for the Amish. I am sad she is no longer working with a nearby hospital. She is such an assist! Not many midwives have as much OB and family practice care as her. Hopefully someone will wise up and recruit her, so I can have another delivery with her!!

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience with Julie. She was always so kind and informative and encouraged me to stick with our natural birth plans. We always had a great experience every time we went in for a prenatal appointment. She was very adamant about monitoring my blood pressure, even from home, to make sure my gestational hypertension did not turn into pre-eclampsia. I loved visiting with her and her assistant Shawna. She even hugged me after our son was delivered. I really missed her after the baby was here. We will definitely be returning to her when the time comes for baby #2. We HIGHLY recommend her.

I almost died because of Julie during my pregnancy she did not catch my preclampsia and she also went on vacation without telling me, forcing me into the care of another dr. in which he was of poor quality also. Please go to another midwife your life depends on it!
