The worse Dr for people that been diagnosed with breathing issues and require to use a CPAP machine.

She is very rude to people and staff, treats people very bad..

I have been taken care by Dr. Chan for I think, at least 4-5 years. (in-person consultations before COVID-19 and over the phone during COVID-19) Dr. Chan has been very professional and patient to ask and listen to my problems.

I was scheduled for 2 phone visit in the past 2 months. I have been waiting for hours and Dr. V. Chan has never called me even her office has confirmed the scheduled appts.' time. I left message to her office for two days and have not received any call back yet.

I want to share what a wonderful phone conversation I had this morning with Dr Victoria Chan. She personally called me back about a small matter and we proceeded to chat for over half an hour about other things in life. She is such a warm and personable woman, a real human being. I’ve always found her to be very passionate and conscientious over the years but this interaction was the piece de resistance. Under the harrowing and lengthy Covid conditions that are ongoing almost 2 years now, as a Respirologist, other medical personnel must be so burnt out, yet Dr Chan continues to show care and concern, indeed a commitment to humanity. She gave me numerous examples of how she has effected a call to action within York Region and inspired other doctors to rally round and keep up the fervour, even though the mood in these areas is waning. She has an upbeat and positive personality and is bringing credibility and honour back to the medical community. We discussed spiritual and everyday matters as if two friends. A quality person like this becomes harder and harder to find these days and she is a true mensch. Please realise that sometimes a wait to see someone special like this is really worth it, as she listens and understands and is not just one of those doctors to write a repeat prescription without getting to the bottom of it. I’ve had Asthma my whole life and indeed I’ve worked in many hospitals doing medical transcription. Believe me when I say, this lady is a gem and should be recommended for a Service Award in the Industry. Just think of that when you next can’t catch your breath, for whatever reason.

Dr. Chan treated my father for severe lung issues related to Covid. She saved his life! Dr. Chan was extremely thorough and very competent. She explored different treatments and went way beyond what was expected. She is a first-rate doctor, empathetic and skilled, who exhibits rare consideration in her interactions with patients.

Great bedside manner. Dr. Chan was very caring to my mother and provided great support to me as well.

Had to switch doctors, calls were never answered, messages were never returned. Poor communications/collaboration with family doctor. Dropped the ball.
