Very knowledgeable surgeon, highly skilled, does very high-quality work. Seems to be aware of latest technology, methods of treatment, etc. Also very well-spoken, and clearly explains relevant information. I do not rate MDs by their bedside manner, because I don't visit doctors for their smiles. I rate them by how proficient a doctor they are. This gentleman surgeon is organized, intelligent, well-spoken, and able to listen to my questions before providing a thoughtful answer. His office manager is also highly intelligent, and is amazing at keeping everything organized and on-track.

I broke my ankle in multiple places and Dr. Taromi was my surgeon on April 3'23. He was kind, patient, not rushed and answered my questions. Both he and my anesthesiologist (Dr. August Rhee) were a dream team that complemented each other well in their knowledge and answering my questions. Although they didn't know exactly what needed to be fixed until they were inside the ankle, they were very clear on explaining the procedure and what to expect when I came out of surgery. Everyone on the day surgical ward provided exceptional customer service, were kind, patient, compassionate and caring not just to me but to everyone in Day Surgery that day. Great hospital and staff's care exceeded my expectations! Thank you Dr. Taromi, Dr. Rhee and Nurse Tina W. You honour the health care profession!!!

Dr. Taromi did a left shoulder reverse arthroplasty on me January 2020. I've worked in hospitals with physicians and nurses. Dr. Taromi is a role model for the care and professionalism he embodies and is technically expert as a surgeon. My left shoulder is fully functional and works great. My right shoulder will need replacement in the future and I am looking forward to the surgery.

I'm sorry - this doctor is TERRIBLE. I have never have a doctor that is insulted when you ask them questions. This whole demeanor is unacceptable for a surgeon. This doctor absolutely does not like when you ask questions, which is borderline hilarious, since its your health and you should be able to ask questions or discuss any concerns. Any questions that are asked to this doctor, where he feels you are challenging his opinion, he gets immediately insulted, rude and dismissive. I'm sorry, this behavior is more indicative of a child. This doctor, truly acts like he doesn't care and he is a surgeon for the pay. Do yourself a favor and opt for another doctor that cares - Dr. Behzad Taromi is not that person.

Dr Behzad Taromi is a great Doctor. I had lost my right elbow in an accident in 2016. After first elbow operation, I had bone infection. Dr Abbas did me a huge favor by bringing Dr Tarom to handle my case. Dr Taromi did total replacement for me for my right elbow when other Doctors were only suggesting to join bones at a fixed angle but Dr Taromi and Dr Abbas said that since this guy is young and needs to work so better solution would be total elbow replacement for the full motion. Dr. Taromi operated on me on Sept 2016 togather with Dr Abbas and right after few days, I haf full movement. It is extremely great work and I have no pain at all. It is been 6 years. I see Dr Taromi once a year and he is always listening, and always helping. His staff at his private clinic are great people. Receptionist and Physio lady, both are great. I hate to see bad reviews about this Doctor on google. I wish him best in his life. Thank you Dr. Taromi and Dr. Abbas. Mirza Hamid Baig

Definitely one of the best doctor out there
He didn't hesitate to explain anything and he was very friendly, welcoming and supportive. I did my left knee surgery which is torn ACL he made sure before 2 weeks from the surgery that I'm okay with it and he explained how it's going to be and answered all my questions, also he did the same thing before 1 hour of the surgery.

He is the best Orthopedic Surgeon i have seen in Mississauga. any other ones I have seen they didn't seem that they care and they didn't explain and they didn't investigate.
This man is awesome I recommend to anyone.

DISMISSIVE
It has taken me a long time to get over how I was treated by Dr. Taromi. As a female with a torn meniscus. The first words out of his mouth were, “you need to lose weight”! As a pre-menopause person who has been very active her whole life, I was shocked at this “remedy”. Weight gain is due to the knee injury!!! His refusal to treat this injury has left me in pain and immobile. If his name comes up as a doctor for you, get another opinion. BTW. anyone have another doctor who can actually help me?? LMK
