I saw Linda for an appt 1 day past due in a normal, healthy pregnancy. After waiting over an hour to be seen she said I had to schedule an induction that week. I said I'd prefer to wait per ACOG guidelines (which she should have been familiar with already!) & she said I wasn't allowed to in this practice. I told her that other doctors in the practice let me & she was extremely rude & said that my choices were to consent to the induction or go home & "wait it out on my own." She then told me that I had to go to the hospital for a NST test since I was past my due date. I had just had an u/s and everything was fine so I said I'd do the NST in the office the next morning (it was now closed b/c I waited so long to be seen though I could've done it during the hour I had waited to be seen!) She said I couldn't wait or I'd be putting my baby in danger. I left in tears feeling like a horrible mom & later got a bill for almost $1k for a test that would have been covered if it was done in office.
