Biography
Dr. Lya Crichlow is a provider with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group. Dr. Crichlow received her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She then went on to complete a residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Laparoscopic Surgery at the Tulane University Hospital School of Medicine. Dr. Crichlow is board certified in General Surgery.

I took my father to the South Eastern Regional Medical Center and he was operated on by Dr. Chrichlow for a perforated Gastric Ulcer and claimed later it was a learning experience that sent our family to tears. She operated on him on three different occasions saying it had to be done. It was halted when she wanted to do a 4th surgery and after a consult with an experienced surgeon who said he would not operate for at least 3 to six months we knew we had put our fathers life in grave danger. He is in a nursing home and worse than ever. I cannot get the hopitals Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Schwarz to even discuss it. She is a not a surgeon of quality or integrity with patients or the rights of which they are protected by law.
