Old doctor moved away, so saw Dr. D. Have fibromyalgia & had Rx for Lyrica that needed renewed. He put me on Savalla, because he would have to request special permission from insurance for Lyrica. Within 2 days I had severe reactions, yet was told to stay on it because of insurance. I sweated profusely, psychologically became "out of my head" for lack of better words and was unaware of my behavior. My neighbor literally took the Rx out of my house. Dr. D was informed of my reactions to the Savella, yet he wanted me to wait 2 days, and then try taking it again. I had black tarry stools within a day both times I was told to take it. The stuff was literally killing me. Feel he does not research meds he prescribes, as I developed a fatty liver and told to stay on a medication the FDA states to not take if you have any liver probelms. Broke tailbone in bad fall & couldn't get in to see him. ER prescribed Vicadin & he will NOT prescribe pain pills when they are really needed.
