Had a chipped tooth with small hole and first doctor gave me small amount of pain meds to help me sleep which was a godsend. Hess did the root canal well but just told me to take tylenol and advil. Hess told me himself that the tooth was very inflamed. I got nothing for the pain Called after a few days to ask for recommendations on how to stop the pain because it was so bad. Not only did I get nothing for the pain, they told me to stop taking the aleve I was using as well. The paper they gave me told me about complications that could happen of which I was showing several symptoms that were listed. They told me to take the tylenol and advil every 5 instead of 6 hours. I am a student and this pain is ridiculous and I do not have the time or money to go in and have him look again. Im not trying to get pain meds to abuse. The lack of concern for a person in genuine pain is quite disconcerting. The work was of good quality, but this pain is stopping me from concentrating on my studies.

Stay away from this dr. Very rude and unprofessional. He complained about his staff during my procedure and seemed very inattentive and distracted. As a result, the work seemed sub-par. I will not be back.

Considering the anxiety that a root canal can induce, Dr. Hess could not have been more comforting- his bedside manner was impeccable. I have highly recommended him to my family, friends, and associates.

did not take the tame to find out my dental pain problem. I told him I guess I'll just pull my tooth and his reply was go ahead you can do what you want to. very unprofessional. never again. went to another dr and he solved my problem and was more attentive
