Someone mentioned that people "attack the doctor" when they fail to follow the doctor's directions. In my case, this was absolutely not true. I followed her directions, almost blindly, and that was the cause of the extreme worsening of my illness. Some of what she recommends is very risky and can make the person worse.

I have had both in-person and phone appointments with Dr. Hubbuch. I have an extremely complex medical history and numerous rare chronic conditions. Dr. Hubbuch has been the one doctor who has followed my case from the beginning, listening to my opinions, and supporting me every step of the way. She continues her education regarding the rare conditions when she had questions and because of her dedication to her patients. She has educated herself in-depth regarding my conditions and has been a huge help. Dr. Hubbuch is one of few doctors who really does her job because she believes in helping her patients. She is the single reason I am alive today and I could not imagine how my life would have turned out. Dr. Hubbuch is like a part of my family and I am forever grateful for everything she has done and continues to do.

I've seen Dr. Hubbuch for years in person but lately due to COVID, by phone. If needed, I would see her in person.
She is excellent, very knowledgeable, and trained by Dr. Thomas Rau in Switzerland who has treated cancer patients and Lyme patients successfully.
She has treated me for many food, chemical, and environmental allergies. She did extensive testing and knew the right ones to find my chemical/heavy metals in my body affecting my health. Through chelation therapy, she's been able to remove nearly all of them. We are still working on lead which levels are far less than what we first found.
She is eager to help, knows very well how to treat, has a very clean office and if anyone says differently, they are very wrong and attacking her personally.
Sometimes when people don't follow her directions or don't get well fast through their own lack of efforts, they attack a doctor.

Find another Dr. She is smart, but there will be no follow up and she will leave you hanging. The office is almost creepy, and you will spend a small fortune for nothing. Really, search on; you can do much, much better...

Jack of all trades is OK in some fields. Medicine is not one of them. Don't be fooled. She has a lot of techniques but she's learned them during weekend conferences from doctor's who are in a higher caliber than she is. Then she comes back to the office and guess who she is experimenting on. Yeah, that's right.

Been seeing Dr Hubbuch since 1982. Incredible doctor. Knowledgeable, caring, and keeps digging until she finds out what’s wrong with me. Sometimes her appointments run late as the patient before me may require more time than expected. AND that means that WHEN I NEED more time, I will get it. CAROLE Teig from Newton.

Overall takeaway: Unhelpful, unprofessional, and unbelievable

My visit was a second opinion after visiting with my primary care physician. I also followed this visit up with another infectious disease specialist within Newton Wellesley. My personal experience aligns with the majority of the reviews left for Dr. Hubbuch, not good.

This doctor insisted I had Lyme disease within the first 5 minutes of meeting with me, and I left her office with 4 prescriptions and no diagnosis... Dr. Hubbuch ran mostly the same test my primary care ran.. Despite the results not showing any sign of Lyme, she insisted I had it and continued to prescribe medications...with no actual leads..

When I asked what else it could be if not Lyme, she refused to give me an answer. She just kept repeating that I am being treated for Lyme. I asked again, if there is no signs of Lyme, what are the other possibilities? She responded by saying "I am not going to spend time discussing this on the phone, you need to book a follow-up".

The first thing she said after we sat down to talk was that she would never be able to read my handwriting if I were not there...Who says that to their patient? All else aside, she never followed up with me once. I had to call in to ask the results of the test...5 days after the date she said she would have the results.

The office is very dirty, and my blood was drawn with my arm resting on a couch pillow in my lap.. unfortunately it was the most unsanitary medical office I have ever seen.

Trying to get in contact with the office is just as difficult as the reviews claim. Make your own conclusion, but consider all of these reviews stating the same things when making your decision.

She is a REAL doctor not like the majority bought and paid for by BIG PHARMA over prescribing prescription drugs! She nearly completely removed all of my allergy symptoms with proper treatment, treated my daughter's Lyme disease that a prominent Boston hospital couldn't even diagnose let alone treat, identified my son's symptoms to high lead levels that a Boston Children's hospital didn't even test for, and iijj identified the cause of my health issues to exposures fo toxic chemicals in both my workplace and environment living near a PCB contaminated New Bedford Harbor. She KNOWS what she's doing and will investigate the root cause of a person's symptoms. Her knowledge and experience is far beyond the typical doctor's office.
