Dr. Freed is phenomenal and has done wonders for my RA. He is up to date with his knowledge of medicine and procedures and really takes the time to listen and treat my illness. I suffered for over a year and cannot thank him enough for his care and treatment. He even called me after hours because I was hurting to give me advice and to have me come in. He is amazing! His staff is sweet and friendly too. Dr. Freed is not my 'friend', but an incredible doctor with a strong knowledge of RA and a gift to make his patients feel better and take away their suffering. Very happy.

Terrible, terrible doctor. He has no knowledge of his "specialty" - my wife made the point that he probably thinks RA is a consistently painful, degenerative disease because he's such a terrible doctor that all his patients are like that! He made me wait half an hour to see him, then spent less than a minute examining me. He then essentially called me a liar, claiming I don't have RA (after being diagnosed by one of the best pediatric rheumatologists in the country) and preaching outdated and incorrect information about RA and its appearance. And may I mention this is after I was told by the front desk, four hours before my appointment, that they wanted to change my appointment time (that I had made three weeks ago) because the doctor "wants to leave early today." Unprofessional, rude, and unknowledgeable. If your insurance refers you to him, ask for a different doctor. I don't know how he's still in business.

The front desk lady was sweet. Dr. Reed is an arrogant as*hole. He was rude from the beginning. He told me I was early and I was exactly on time and he argued with me. He told me I have the name of a witch which was highly offensive. I have a biblical name. He didn't listen to anything I had to say and I was extremely offended. I don't know how he can call himself a doctor. He didn't do anything for me and I will do ecerythjbg in my power to let everyone know how terrible he is. He came off as very racist . What a jerk

The experience with Robert Freed has been frustrating. I left the consult appointment with there being no confirmed diagnosis. He informs me to come back when the pain is worse. I prepared to pay the co-pay I went to the front desk and the lady proceeds to inform me that they will confirm with my insurance if any payment is needed. She says she'll bill me if needed to even when I insist it will be needed. I leave and receive a bill with my name incorrectly spelled a few months later at my old address. I paid the bill and sent an updated address along with it. Later I see that the check is cashed. But another month later I received a late payment notice. Then another notice a month after that. So I call the office and explain that the check was cashed. The lady apologizes and asks me to send over a copy of the cashed check. I fax it over. And then today I get notice that there's a statement of delinquency. Faxed the cashed check over again. This office really needs to get it together.

I met Dr. Freed last year after experiencing symptoms of what turned out to be RA. I saw Dr. Freed 3 times before It became clear that I was never going to be comfortable with his taciturn demeanor and needed to find a more collaborative Rheumatologist (he answered his cell phone on me, too!). Last week, out of the blue (and, over a year later!), I got a screaming, threatening phone call from a fly-by-night collection agency demanding that I FedEx money to them before they report on my credit. 3 phone calls later, I discover that Dr. Freed has sold them a "debt" for a $5.00 co-pay that I supposedly owe him. After his office charged me $25.00 to copy my records (less than10 pages!) I discovered that I did, In fact, receive services on that day. Standing next to their giant sign stating that payment is due upon receipt of services, I asked how I could have seen the Dr. If I hadn't paid them. Their response? "It's out of our hands." I would NEVER reccomend Dr. Freed to anyone. EVER.

No medical history taken except to ask less than 5 questions to diagnose my joint pain & swelling. During the 4-5 minute rough exam he said I had nothing wrong except I was overweight at 5'8" 145 lbs and I just needed to work. Also during the exam he took 2 calls on his cell and the 3rd call he left the room, 20 minutes passed and he never returned. I left and there was no further contact by him or staff. I am a Registered Nurse and there was nothing professional about the way he spoke to me or treated me. His physical exam was very painful. I have a history of JRA, severe osteoarthritis and more but he would not allow me to speak except to answer his initial questions on my pain and it's *location, *intensity, *duration, *how often I had pain. He wanted my answers in %, 1-10 scale, hours. My pain was not 100% of the time- He told me and this is a quote "All my patients in "real pain" have swelling and pain at a 9-10 and it is 100% of the time"

Arrogrant, rude and cold. My first visit with him was to treat my symptoms of Fibromyalgia. I dreaded seeing him again and finally decided to find another Doctor. Thankfully I was misdiagnosed and the symptoms went away, but not the memory of my experience with Dr. Freed. Brrrr... the pains in my hands/feet are all coming back just thinking about those visits!
