Years of excellent care from this doctor!!!! My whole family has received outstanding service from him and his entire staff for many years! I highly recommend this practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Niederkohr's for 30 years and take my children there as well. I have always been very pleased with Dr. Niederkohr and his staff until recently. His office person Amanda was condescending and argumentative when I asked for a pair of spare contact lenses to get me through approximately six weeks until my insurance would roll over for the new year to be able to buy more. I was told that the 6 pairs of disposable lenses I had purchased 6 months ago should have lasted me. I said they would have had one not ripped. That happens sometimes with soft contact lenses. I was told She would make a one time exception and see what she could do after I told her to never mind I would figure something else out. My confusion and frustration with this is that this has never happened before. I have been given a spare pair on other occasions in other years without any hassle. Its a shame that one person's nasty attitude could cost them a patient of over 30 years.

initial contact with staff went awry after opening hellos.. I've been dealing with dental/health/vision plans for the last 50 years. This conversation started down the wrong path when the receptionist told me I was looking at a health plan rather than a vision plan, that the company was unknown, with the strong implication of unreputable, and that I was welcome to come in, be examined at which time I would be presented with a "large cash bill" (her words) and I could seek reimbursement at my leisure. I was disappointed at the response and dismissive attitude, apologized for disturbing her morning , and decided to find a more welcoming staff. I was somewhat stunned, as my immediate family have been patients of "Dr.
Niederkohr's for years, and had nothing but glowing reports of his abilities.

If I didn't think the doctor was extremely proficient and knowledgeable I would not go to this office. I feel that his staff are lacking in quality service. If you don't mind slow phone service (have been on hold for 4+ minutes on multiple occasions for scheduling an appointment. Waited at the counter to check out for nearly 10 minutes just to find out the clerk was around the corner at a desk. It's frustrating to have so much trust in the doctor and consistently be disappointed in the staff's lack of attentiveness.

I have used Dr. Niederkohr for many years, and have always been satisfied with the thoroughness of the examinations and the prescriptions written. We have had many discussions about the technical aspects of eye health and his craft, and have never found him less than courteous, polite, informative and accurate. The eye-wear purchased from his office has always been high quality, and he has stood behind them when there have been problems.

This was my first visit with Dr. Niederkohr and I was very pleasantly surprised at how knowledgeable and friendly he and his staff were. I also spent much less money and time than I anticipated and got a much better product. In addition, the contacts purchase that I made includes unlimited follow-up visits (for the year)at no charge in case there's a problem or loss of a contact.

Our family has been patients of Dr. Niederkohr for severa years. He has always provided us with great service and very good products. He takes his time with his patients. He does an excellant job of keeping you imformed on the changes in your vision. I have used him for both contacts and glasses. I highly recommed him.

Very impressed with this office. They are friendly and attentive, the doctor is very approachable, easy to talk to, and thorough (in direct contrast to the other review left here... did you go to the same office?) and the prices (with my insurance) were very reasonable.

I have been very satisfied with this practice. We have been going to Dr.Neiderkohr for many years now and he has always welcomed our small children during appointments which can be really hard to find.
