This guy is useless, I did two root canal and had to remove one in few years because of the pain and the other still hurts once a while. Don’t spend money on this guy, if he graduated from Penn he is a disgrace to Penn.

Do not use this dentist unless you want to experience terrible customer service. I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early only to be told they had given my time to someone else because I did not confirm my appointment. I had confirmed my appointment the might prior by replying to a text message sent from their office. The staff was very rude and told me I could wait and see if they had a no show... I'm sorry, but I had made my appointment 6 months ago, was there early, and confirmed the night before. One of the staff members then told me that they had been trying to contact me since last week to conform my appointment, which was a blatant lie. The only reason I used their text system to confirm was because I got their voice message after 7pm and I thought to myself, "how convenient, I don't have to remember to call them tomorrow, I can just text C to confirm." Well, now I wasted my time and my husbands time (he left work to watch our kids). No apologies from the staff, just rude accusations.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jeffrey Cook for more than 30 years. He is a Penn Dental grad and is very intelligent, even if his sense of humor is a bit different. He has done preventive, restorative and cosmetic work on my teeth over the years, and I get lots of compliments on my smile, and have healthy teeth. The practice has had some rough spots over the years, but since he split from his brother a few years ago, he has really updated the office, added new technology (including computer systems and digital xrays), and eliminated some unfriendly employees. It is an enjoyable experience for me, every time I go.

I created this account to warn others.First off I am very happy having moved out of Dr. Cook. I do not have nice things to say about him, he is very unprofessional and cannot treat patients well. I am very insensitive to insults as I give the benefit of doubt to the offender and move on. My wife moved out of this Dentist's care within few visits. I was with him since I got 2 root canals done from him. every time I get pain at the area of root canal, he would provide me with high dose of antibiotics. He took X-rays and never told me that he did a poor job of not going deep enough and has left a pocket of tissue underneath, I did not know until after I changed the dentist. I trusted him and paid for it. Apart from his poor service he does not know to talk and can offend even the most insensitive person. I have 3 masters in engineering and business, he looks at me and asks this obnoxious question, will you use your wife's toothbrush? I said thats it! His staff are very nice,

I created an account on here just to warn others. I went about 5 times over 3 years. Every time worse than the previous. Staff was absolutely rude by the end. They will tag team you on the phone and bully you in an attempt to justify their ridiculous fees, etc. 10 minutes late = $40 late fee? Maybe if I was warned when I picked up the appointment on short notice. Maybe if I had been taken in promptly when I was on time in the past. I have sat there for 30-45 minutes before being taken in, but if I am late $40 fee. Good luck with that. I realize you get paid by the hour but so do your patients; the door swings both ways. Time for a new dentist. There are better options, learn from my mistake.

Horrible experience! Do not recommend this dentist to my worst enemy. The only thing he and the so called "office staff" care about is how much money they're going to get out of you. Had a filling only last 2 weeks... Come to find out the place is known as "Cookes Chop Shop"..wish I would of looked into him b4 putting myself and the rest of my family through that. Not only are the people rude, the office is dingy w/no new technology besides their little flat screen tv in the waiting area that they probably purchased with the $80 no show fee that we were charged. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! My husband could of done a better job on my teeth with his Dremel!

Dr Cook, awesome, sweet man, really put my dental issues to rest. His staff is full of it. Most of the nurses are fine but there is a woman at the front desk that needs to pull the stick out. She's rude, arrogant, has no bedside manner and over charges patients by $30 on the regular. I had gotten into a car accident and missed my appointment. She had no tact no compassion and slapped me with a $40 fee for not showing up. Excuse me for being in the hospital. When I did return for my appointment and paid for the day thank god another woman was there who had a heart and took the fee off but the next month a get a bill stating they "undercharged" me for my visit and the rude one slipped the $40 fee back in! I don't understand how you as a professional who's worked in the office for years can claim you don't know what to charge people for their visits. Never again.

Really like the newly redone office, staff are always very friendly and know me by name. They are good about being on time, enabling me to head right back to work. I take my 2 kids here as well, and they really like the hygienists.

I have been going to Dr. Jeffrey Cook for many years, and I have to say I love the newly redone office decor and computer system. Dr. Cook and his staff are professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. The front office staff is very helpful and able to assist with insurance questions and billing. The hygienists are pleasant, always smiling, and very thorough. I would highly recommend Dr. Cook and his staff members for all of your dental needs!
