Dr. Tchabo's experience and support is unsurpassed as a obstetrician and gynecologist. Because of this, waits can be long unless you ask staff for an appointment at a time that's not as busy. He offers his undivided attention during appointments, no matter how many questions/concerns you raise, and he will call you if you simply need to talk about a concern by phone that a nurse couldn't answer.

dr Tchabo is no longer delivering babies-- and I didn't find this out until almost 30 weeks!? at what point was someone going to tell me? in fact I asked him directly you're going to deliver this baby right? and he didnt say no. it wasn't until a week later talking to the office manager that I heard he wasn't delivering anymore

he was my doctor for my second delivery and I like and value him. there is no reason to stay with this practice and endure the horrible wait times and disorganization of staff if he's not delivering anymore.

PS DISTRUST ANY REVIEWS BELOW THAT RATE PUNTUALITY OF THIS OFFICE A "5". I've been coming here 6 years and EXPECT TO WAIT!!

This practice is so unorganized!! The doctor was always running late and when I requested my medical records the office manager treated me in an unprofessional manner!! Shelly Moore is the office manager and is incompetent and lacks professionalism. I would not recommend this office to anyone unless you want to be cursed out by the classless white trash Shelly!!

I called Dr. Tchabo’s office to request a copy of my medical records. When I arrived to collect my records, I was notified that the office charged $45 for the copy.

Based on Virginia law, the office of Dr. Tchabo should have charged me no more than 1/3 of that amount for the service of maintaining and copying my files. The office manager indicated that she would not give me my files in exchange for $17.50 and instead that their fee was $45 - almost three times that amount. This was an unreasonable fee for this service and unlawful. I would not recommend this doctor.

I was fortunate to find Dr. Tchabo after some inadequate care from other gynecologists. He's the only doctor that takes the time explaining test results and really critical information on my fibroids. He's also the only doctor who discussed my options with me in depth. Quite frankly it's the only office besides my dentist where don't feel treated like a nuisance but, in fact, a valued patient. Honestly, Dr. Tchabo is among a rare breed of truly caring physicians.

Back in 1981 he assisted in my care and surgery (appendectomy/possible Crohn's) with Dr. Sandiford. He was outstanding in his care. He even interrupted his Saturday evening out with his wife to come to my bedside when I spiked a high fever. After all this time I have never forgotten his kindness to me.

Dr. Tchabo was my OBGYN during my second pregnancy. I truly like him and would use him again if I decided to have another child. He is very knowledgeable and has so much experience. He always made me and my husband feel comfortable and took his time to explain things. Dr. Tchabo was right on with my delivery and due date. He always checked to make sure my hemoglobin was fine because I 'm anemic. Dr. Tchabo was always available even after hours. Although he is a great Doctor who I would highly recommend, I do have some complaints. The office is old and doesn't appear to be clean but it is. It's just old! The front desk girls although they are nice, they don't know what they are doing half of the time. I always had to make sure my name and birth date was correct on everything. At one point, I was in the waiting room with a girl with the same name, and if I didn't check my name and birthdate- I would probably had done her sugar test. I did have to wait sometimes for a while before I was seen. Other than that, he is a great doctor!

I had an extraordinary experience with my first baby delivery. I am so happy to have met my doctor and I would highly recommend him to anyone. Dr. Tchabo, who deliver my first baby is truly an amazing doctor; from the beginning through the end he took care of me and baby since the first day I set foot in his office. I felt a welcoming vibe and the office is very helpful and polite. They fulfilled my needs and attention 100%. I had another physician prior to Dr. Tchabo at another facility that did very poorly and my experience there was horrific; I did not feel like I was obtaining the care that my baby and I needed., but from the first day until my baby’s birth date Dr. Tchabo always dedicated 100% of time and delivered the care that anyone deserves during a pregnancy experience. His team of physicians delivered my first baby and I would never change my experience for anything in the world. I would highly recommend my doctors to any my family and friends. Thank you Dr. Tchabo and staff!

This doctor is truely amazing. We have been with him for close to four years. He is very knowledgable and caring. He helps high risk women and specializes in natural birth (if the mother chooses). He's amazing.
