Although my daughter appeared to have a somewhat common condition, Dr. Tawfik was concerned that my daughter had an underlying condition. He gently but persistently urged me to see a specialist. When I eventually did, it turned out my daughter had a very serious condition. Without Dr. Tawfik's caring, concern, and expertise, my daughter's life-threatening condition might possibly have never been caught.
