Dr. Lowenthal has a great reputation and it is well deserved. He has lots of experience. He was able to come up with lots of reasons for my stomach pain and went through why each one was possible. In the end, he came up with what I think is the right diagnosis and now I'm getting better.

Dr. Lowenthal was able to fix my problem that I had suffered from for months. Even after seeing multiple specialists. was able to give me my life back. I appreciated his care.

Has a sterling reputation as an internist, but wasn't helpful to me. Spent more time reviewing the notes from previous doctors than asking me questions or examining me. Spent little time thinking about possibilities. He simply copied the treatment plan from a specialist I had seen before, but wanted to emphasized pharmaceuticals more. Didn't provide a clear working diagnosis. He was polite and seemed to be up to date on the current literature.
