My son went for allergy testing. The staff member was reading the results off, it's a good thing my wife was paying attention to what each of the sites were testing because they read a severe reaction to peanuts as a reaction to soy (which they didn't even test for). I don't think I need to explain why this is dangerous. Next they didn't explain much of anything, didn't offer an epipen until specifically requested a few days later - we told them he had an anaphylactic reaction to peanuts. I can't comment on their knowledge because they didn't bother to explain much of anything

Went for more allergy testing, that had already been done by another specialist which showed I clearly had allergies (I’ve experienced anaphylaxis twice). Did not ask for a detailed history, did a very hurried scratch test. My one arm was completely red and itchy and he said I wasn’t showing any allergies?? My symptoms match previous testing so he seemed confused. I paid for this testing and then he wanted me to get a blood test that was expensive and is only about 50% accurate. He contradicted what other specialists have told me. I left feeling very frustrated and that the time spent with him was a waste. His office also kept sending confusing emails and phone messages to both my husband and I, even though it was my appointment. Maybe he should stick to ENT instead of allergies.

He did my nose surgery and was very attentive afterwards. Gave me his Cell # if I needed him. We always joked around. He would call me at home to see how I was. I, myself, thinks he’s the greatest.!

My 12 year old daughter had been dealing with constant ear pain. After a couple of visits with Dr Roux we decided to get tubes in. Dr Roux always made my daughter feel included in her appointments and made sure she was comfortable with his recommendation. On the day of her surgery he made sure to come to the waiting room to talk to her one on one and explain exactly what was going to happen and to answer any questions she may have. He made sure she was comfortable.

I had been struggling a long time and no one could help me. Luckily I got referred to Dr Roux! He was compassionate and very knowledgeable and immediately got me on the right treatment. I also don't know what these other comments are coming from being so negative. I found him very pleasant, great bedside manners and extremely polite and a great doctor!. Glad he moved to Owen Sound! I suppose the most negative people will post on here and not all the positive ones!

Someone asked where Dr. Roux moved his practice to - he moved to Owen Sound, Ontario. I have an apt. with him for my 2.5 year old son and I'm a little skeptical now from these reviews. Hopefully he's gotten better at his bedside manner and is a little more gentle with my son or else I'll be saying something!

Very abrupt, no chairside manner. Used endoscope with no numbing. Very rough aggressive attitude when turning the chair side to side. Did not know how to help my situation and did not offer any further advise.

Receptionisy was pleasant and helpful. I was rold to find my own room, no biggie. Appointment was about 8 minutes past scheduled time so not horrible. My biggest concern is that the doctor must only have a range of kowlege om certain things and if you come in qirh anything he hasn't heard of he just asks you if you smoke. And that hmmmm and sits on hia chair looking at you like you know the answer. Then wraps up with qell I hope it feels better soon. That's real helpful. Thanks for nothing and a waste of my time and my gas to drive here. I could have googled a better answer myself.
