I was billed for Biopsy of Celvix, but I wasn't been told he did biopsy at the time of service. When I called back and asked about the bill and service. The staff said Dr. Axline made notes on the charts. Then I questioned why I didn't received the biopsy result, they said a staff called me and left a message but I checked the calling history, they lied. The time passed 2 months from the service date. I have been with the Dr for 9 years. He was great at beginning. That's the reason I have been staying with him. But I am kind of disappointed by Dr. Axline and his staff service in the recent years. His office staff is very unprofessional. Never returns messages or follows up on any test results. Last visit, I scheduled with him for check up, but he just asked a few questions and gave me a prescription based on the symptom that I told him. After I read other ladies reviews, I am wondering what's going on to Dr. Axline.

I have used Dr. Axline for over a year and I will not be going back. Last time I was there, I was kept in the examination room for an hour. When Dr. Axline came into the room and I mentioned I had been kept waiting and no one had come in and said anything to me, he said he would knock $100 off my bill. This was for hormone replacement, my insurance did not cover it. Well, then, his office billed my insurance company for $125 and sent me a bill! While at the same visit, Dr. Axline asked me how long I had been on hormone replacement therapy and what dosage I was on - never once had he reviewed my chart or looked at as it is in the chart. Now, I cannot get my prescription refilled! I will NEVER go back to his office. The staff is scattered, they do not know what is going on and if I call, I have to call back at least three times to get anything answered. He also tries to sell me vitamins and other supplements. I am never going back.

I have been a patient for over 12 years, and in the beginning, Dr. Axline was an excellent dr. However, he had some personal issues (google it if interested) and I think it ultimately led to his departure from the clinic at Medical Center of Lewisville. After he started his own practice, the staff was disorganized-would reschedule, ask for my medical records even though they already had them, that type of thing. THEN he got remarried, and eventually his practice changed. His standard clinic decor was remodeled to a posh, upscale, spa-like facility, and he now offers body sculpting and botox and other types of similar services. I had some labwork done that showed my cholesterol was high, and Dr. Axline recommended Boston Heart Labwork, which was a complete waste of money. It's a more detailed report of bloodwork, but unnecessary, as explained by 2 other physicians I've talked to. Dr. Axline loves to ask, "how are your periods?" (looking back, does anyone really have positive things to say about their periods?) and then he'll use your answer to sell you on a hysterectomy, partial hysterectomy, etc. Every visit, he would ask me, and although my answers were the same, his recommended treatment would vary. He would suggest a partial hysterectomy at one visit, and then the next visit he would recommend an ablation. He never seemed to look at my chart to review past conversations, either. I had a nagging suspicion that he was just all about money, but I dismissed my feelings because of the history I've had with him and I guess I was hoping I was wrong. Then he recommended that I get on hormone pellets because my "testosterone levels were so low that they didn't register on the panel". He and his staff glorified the pellets and how life-changing they are...and I finally thought I had an answer to my problems with low-energy, mental fogginess, and low libido, so I tried them. I had the treatments several times, my libido increased, but that's really the only thing I've noticed-other than weight gain in my abdominal area. Recently, I went to my general practicioner for sinus issues and when I told him I was taking the pellets he said he would NEVER EVER approve of a woman taking testosterone for the types of symptoms I was having, and asked who put me on the pellets. When I told him, he said that I was the second patient that week to tell him they were put on pellets by Dr. Axline, and he said he told her the same thing, he would rather try wellbutrin than suggest hormone pellets. This is the clincher-as I'm telling him this, he's going through my chart and looking at the bloodwork that I had done prior to getting the pellets ( I asked Dr. Axline's office to send them over to him ) and it showed that my testosterone levels were in the NORMAL RANGE. I'm disgusted with Dr. Axline, I trusted him and I have him thousands of dollars, I borrowed money from family for treatments that I didn't need. If you have any doubts at all, I would run for the hills. I should have run at my last appt with him, when he was actually suggesting that I try the HGC diet- a diet of 500 calories a day combined with administering yourself shots in the stomach-NO THANKS.

When I first started going to Dr Axline, I was very happy with the time and care he showed at my appointments, however the past month or two has been a horrible experience especially with the staff. There was a miscommunication with the staff and pharmacists about my medication refill, and I feel like I have been blamed for it. The staff has implied that I am double dosing on my medications and taking them incorrectly, but the fact is they did not call In my refill and I never recieved the medication! I have printed out documents proving I never got the medication. I was then told dr axline would not refill any of my prescriptions until I came in for yet another appointment! Why should I have to pay for another appointment to get a refill on the medication I was supposed to get at my last appointment but never received??? Everytime I try to schedule anappointment and prove I am taking the medicine the correct way, he is "out of town" or "had an emergency". Im very offended by their implications and the way I'm being treated. I think they don't want admit they made a mistake and see the proof I have from the pharmacist. Very insulting!

His office staff is very unprofessional. Always unreachable. Never returns messages or follows up on any test results. You constantly have to call over and over to get any response. Dr. Axline is a good doctor but his staff is ridiculous. I typically wait 30 min to an hour just to see him every visit.

Question every test that Dr Axline's asks you to do. Most of them are not covered under insurance. I had issues with him ordering tests during my pregnancy which were not covered by insurance. Doing a little homework, I had alternate tests done which were covered. Now a year later I had to do my annual exam which was an experience. I wonder what this new goofy scan, mouth swab, and additional HPV screen will cost me. His office staff is unprofessional. They never seem to help you with verifying benefits, don't return calls, give you incorrect information regarding test results, and always seem to over book him with appts (I have waited well over an hour several times). I also think they do too much product pushing. Should a doctor really be selling vitamins which he benefits from (gets a payback)? I think that is a conflict of interest. The only positive thing I can say is he is knowledgeable and will take his time answering your questions. Unfortunately, I do not plan on going back to his practice.

Sadly, I am frequently rescheduled by Dr. Axline. I'm not what sure what is going on or what to believe. So many rumors are flying, but his actions speak loader than words and it make me nervous. Is this normal behavior?

The staff is incompetent, they advise they are going to do something for you, then act like it's your fault when they haven't completed the task. They are rude and inconsiderate. The doctor is not at all compassionate, I would describe his bed side manner as cold at best. No wonder he was asked to leave Lewisville hospital... he clearly can't play nicely (with coworkers or patients)...
