Wonderful doctor. With 30+ years experience, he knows what he is talking about. These other reviews are not accurate whatsoever. I will continue to recommend him to friends/family.

Dr. Axline is an awesome Dr. He listens to your needs and see’s both female and male patients. His assistant’s are very pleasant and personable. The front desk lady always greets you with a smile, is kind and professional. This office is very busy so there may be a wait from time to time.

Great doctor, very friendly staff!! Been a patient for 25+ years, would recommend to everyone looking for an experienced OB/GYN. Now he has delivered three of my grand children and sees both daughters.

I was referred to Dr Axline by 2 friends. I have a long history of female cancers in my family, and have been scared of Drs and scared to look at my health. But in November 2022, i decided I didn’t to address some issues and I made my first appointment.

When I got to the appointment I was informed this practice did not take my insurance so I will need to pay cash and file with my insurance directly. The appointment for consult and blood draw was $230, labs were $400. My insurance ruled this was not necessary and denied paying me back.

Dr Axline does not give results over the phone so I was told I had to make another appointment for results.

When I got there, Dr said he felt something was not correct with the labs and wanted to run it again. Another $400 out of my pocket.

My next appointment was Dec 30th at 11:30. Unfortunately that day North Texas was hit with a crazy ice storm. School was called off and most city’s had announced closed by 12. I personally tried to get out of my neighborhood around 11, but unfortunately slid into my neighborhoods car and decided it was too dangerous to leave. I saw on Facebook Drs office after dr offices were announcing closers so didn’t feel it was necessary to call practice at that moment, I assume they were closing as well.

So I called a few days later to apologize I missed my appointment and to rescheduled. Receptionist giggles and said, “no problem we had a lot of patients not be able to get in that day, we actually closed earlier also.

I rescheduled for 2/16 4/30 pm but this time he was ok doing on over the phone.

At 3:30 on the 16th I received a phone call from someone in the practice confirming our appointment and telling me how to call in. She finally says unfortunate Dr Axline can’t speak with you or give you your results till you pay for the appointment you didn’t show up for on Dec 30th.

I probably wasn’t the nicest person to this poor office girl, but I was SHOCKED… results can’t be read till account is paid up? So is this how you treat all your patients? Hold their health in limbo till they pay up? But you did close early, right?!

So ultimately I learned your particle cares about the $ over the patient. And after looking at your reviews, I can see I’m not the only one!!

$1020 paid, zero results given, and refusal to even mail me my own lab results I already paid for. All over a missed appointment fee when the office was actually closed or closing!

Shame on this practice!

If I could have scored this facility a 0 I would have but that option was not available. I was referred by a friend to Dr Axline. As a new patient I attempted to schedule an appointment twice and twice my appointment was cancelled. On my most recent appointment it was scheduled for 12/15/22 and was contacted on 12/15/22 that my appointment was cancelled and they would not be able to get me in until 01/04/23..which means that all my deductibles reset. His staff was not accommodating at all and seemed to have no interest in the problem they had caused for me. This being my 1st experience was also my last. Buyer Beware!

For a gynecologist, he MUST not know that you do not talk a person into having a complete hysterectomy, because the person was to old to have intercourse. No mention that a woman has an increased risk of developing Alzheimer's & dementia if ovaries are removed. ALSO woman will have more bone loss without the estrogen that their body makes! ALSO never mentioned that a Postmenopausal woman not producing estrogen or taking it needs to take at lease 1,500 mg of calcium supplements. What a a TERRIBLE Doctor. Someone should yank his certificates from him! Jail would not be good enough for him.

A cautionary tale- Please read before scheduling a appointment:

I went to Dr Axline in March and as with most well woman’s exam it started with a UA ( every office I have been to previously does the standard pregnancy test).  My visit was normal and I was only in for my yearly and a prescription for birth control.  At the end of the visit Dr Axline suggested I get bloodwork and that my insurance would pay for it.  If I were to receive a bill then I should contact their office.  Fast forward to last week. I received a bill from Elite Lab Solutions in Tomball TX. They charged my insurance $6,000 for a lab test. As instructed I called Dr Axline’s office and they took my information and said they would get back to me.   In the meantime I called the lab to find out what test was ran for $ 6,000 and the lab said it was for a “very extensive drug screen”.  Let me just state I am not pregnant and I was only in the office for my yearly exam and birth control.  I called back the Dr’s office to ask them why an extensive drug screen was ran on me for birth control and they could not give me a straight answer.  I reviewed my consent form from the lab (thinking it was the blood work that I signed for )  there were sections that stated various drugs but none were checked by their office instead it stated they had a “existing order on file”.  I emailed the office manager and asked them why this was necessary for birth control but did not receive a straight answer. I also asked them why they were using a lab in Houston and they told me with the local Elite labs in Dallas have a high volume the specimens are sent to other cities – the problem is this lab is ONLY in the Houston area (I called and confirmed with the lab).  I called Elite and asked them if they offer kickbacks for Dr’s using their facilities and their answer was “as will any company we try to recruit and retain our clients”. I am now on the hook for this bill.

This is not an ob/gym like I have ever been to before. Not one magazine or brochure or sign regarding pregnancy or menopause. Instead it's a "wellness" center for men and women. I had Abbas feeling when I went in but stayed to see the doctor. He read my report sent over by my doctor and said he had no idea why I was there. He then proceeded to tell me to purchase his very specific probiotics from the company he was affiliated with. Total creepy sales job. Will never return and will let others know not to go.

https://www.healthgrades.com/media/english/pdf/sanctions/HGPYA2596F8184202708511042011.pdf Had a weird feeling about this guy, though he was recommended by my friend. Have never been comfortable having a male obgyn...and when I try one...he ends up being a wife beater that had an affair with a patient....as someone who left an abusive marriage, domestic violence is my least acceptable trait. this document and others are available online. I actually found it in someone else's review. My gut screamed and it was right.
