Reviewed x-rays of my ankle, which had been swollen for over a month and could bare no weight, after a major accident. Told me nothing was wrong, just wait it out.

Got a second opinion (who sent me for immediate physio and an urgent MRI). I had 4 completely torn (detached) and partially torn ligaments and tendons in my ankle as well as bone contusions and bone and tissue edema.

Upon my next appt with Tung he had not bothered to read the report and was questioning why I was back. Read the MRI during our appt and noted "I had a lot going on in there". Then told me that I'd likely need surgery and would be better off going to emergency and telling them I have pain, as he didn't know a orthoepic surgeon to refer me to... WHAT? "Get someone else to give you the referral".

Wouldn't answer any questions about whether I should continue Physio with torn and detached ligaments and kept telling me to ask the Physiotherapist instead?!!?

As others have noted he just wanted off the phone, couldn't care less about my issue or a path to recovery. Literally the worst doctor I have ever come in contact with.

Similar to other experiences shared here, felt like he does not actually prioritize your health in many ways.
Rushes through without listening to symptoms, absent minded, you will likely leave with a feeling of being brushed off or "it's nothing" for potential critical health concerns. If you value short or long-term health and well being, I would highly recommend against seeing this 'professional' as you will likely want to seek out or require a second opinion. Only see this guy for small stuff that any physician shouldn't be able to mess up. (ie: Sick Notes, Vaccinations)

He's been my Dr for years. I had bypass surgery. He changed my meds, which caused me to have kidney failure. Medical malpractice at its finest by Amrik Tung . Cannot call him a Dr. Revoke his license immediately. Now he refuse to treat me because I have "too many" health issues.

Stay away! For 2years my mom complained of lower abdo pain and shortness of breath. He told her it's nothing she's just stressing. Mom begged for an ultrasound. Came to find out she had 9mm cyst with a 8mm mass attached to it. Came to find out it was stage 4 ovarian cancer. Within 2 months of being diagnosed mom passed away. Save your loved on and Do NOT see this negligent dr.

Worst doctor next to Michael Jacksons last doctor. Amrik does NOT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS CONFIDENTIALITY. HE WILL TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY ALL THE REASONS WHY YOU VISIT HIS CLINIC

Dr. Tung was my grandfathers doctor for years. His diagnosis has always been incorrect. My grandfather was taken to hospital and without hand additional checks he prescribed him with anxiety meds for shortness of breath! My grandfather had more difficulties, we finally convinced him to see another doctor... this doctor diagnosed him in one week and now he will be getting pacemaker. Dr. Tung only wants to make money! Does not care about his patients.... never made extra effort to look into my grandfathers condition. Highly unrecommended
