Dear Dr. Rondeau,

Since I can’t seem to reply to your response, and you seem to enjoy checking this site from time to time, here is my response to you. I am your “mystery patient” from a couple ratings down.

Please educate me on how the following statements show respect to women:
1. Women should not get married before they are 30 because they don’t know what they want.
2. If you sleep with your *pretty little mouth* closed, you’ll stop snoring. (This one floored me.)

Both of these made me uncomfortable. Both are disrespectful. Period. Perhaps you can avoid instances like this in the future.

And in regards to the “free” consultation you offered my husband - you told me he could go through his doctor for a free assessment, OR come to your office for a consultation for a fee. It seems your offer of a free one is your attempt to save face here.

On that note, is sleep apnea within a dentist’s scope of practice? It sure seems like something a medical doctor should be diagnosing to me. And considering you never met my husband, assuming he has sleep apnea felt a bit off.

I will continue to address my ongoing issues with my other healthcare providers.

Got my braces off today and I’m stunned. If you’re new or considering, or you’ve had a bad experience elsewhere, I strongly feel that ALL your needs will he met here.

My jaw was broken when I was born. I’ve had a huge underbite for as long as I can remember. All the Orthodontist’s I’ve visited all wanted to do risky surgery.

EXCEPT Dr. Brock Rondeau. He had a better way.

Thank God for Rondeau and his team for the smile I’m proud to be wearing today. Dr. Rondeau and his employees Gina and Paula; They are the nicest people I’ve ever met. Their outstanding skill set and practice are also one of a kind. Professional, caring, and highly impressive. On a more personal level, Gina always has a smile on her face and wants the best for you, while Paula lights up the room with her laugh.

Rondeau’s is one of the best Places if not the best, around the world. I would recommend 100 times out of 10.
As someone who lives 3 hours away and would drive here once every month from Barrie, I would never consider going anywhere else.

A big thanks to the team for giving me the smile I have today. Absolutely - Killed it.

I seen this dentist and after imaging he informed me I had tmj. Also did home sleep study which showed I was positive for sleep apnea. He was correct that I have severe sleep apnea. 33x on his report. My family doctor sent me for study in the lab and it showed I stopped breathing 64x per hour. They do vary due to different devices used too measure. I went for further mri and it showed my joints were in normal position which is odd as my jaw clicks on and off. There are muscles in your jaw and mine are affected they get sore. I wake up with headaches from severe sleep apnea and the machine is going to improve that. I will need a guard for bruxism.
Not going to give him poor rating as he is knowledgeable it just would have been nice if he worked closely with my other specialists to provide a plan of action for me.

I want to start by saying that Dr. Rondeau’s staff are absolutely amazing. I loved the technicians/assistants and reception. All kind and knowledgeable.

I received TMJ treatment. I’m not sure it was 100% effective. In fact, I don’t know that my chief complaint was really fixed/addressed. It brought some relief to some of my symptoms... but really minimal.

My biggest complaint is Dr. Rondeau himself. I actually dreaded the part of the appointment where he would come in, and was thankful that it was short. He’s said various things that have made me a bit uncomfortable. He’s a misogynist, in my opinion. And he’s clearly in it all for the $$$$. At my final appointment he tried to sell me on having my spouse come in for a sleep apnea consult... also convenient that my treatment ended at the minimum 4 months I was told.

Love his staff! But would not recommend.

I’m come from Windsor to see doctor Rondeau.
Yes, I heard that he is not an orthodentist, but before meeting him, I saw an orthodontist in Windsor who was not able ta talk about my jaw and he just complicated my life. He told me you need to see a surgent and this might cost 25000$.
My jaw was clicking and was shifted.
Dr Rondeau was able to fix the jaw and move it to its original position in three months. I was so satisfied after suffering for 30 years.....
Now we started the second phase to close my open bite.
Yes he looks busy, but you can ask his presence if you need to talk or ask him.

I received treatment for TMJ and orthodontics at rondeau and associates. 4 years post-treatment and I couldn’t be happier with my smile. My migraines are completely gone, along with my clicking jaw. Don’t sleep on it! If you have any of the same issues, you’re only wasting time by not going to get it fixed.

I first went to see Dr. Rondeau 5 yrs ago for an oral appliance for severe sleep apnea.l was using a cpap at the time.With my new appliance he has changed me from severe sleep apnea to just snoring that is under control with my new oral appliance.No more high maintenance of the cpap,and l can now enjoy breathing fresh air with the windows open in the warmer months,not to mention the compact size making travel a breeze.l have recommended his services to others ,and will continue to do so.All the staff at Dr. Rondeau,s office are above exceptional,you see it in the way they work with the patients,and also the way they work with each other.This is a great clinic to be treated at and l,m sure equally great to work for if you are lucky enough.Having met Dr. Rondeau and getting my oral appliance has been life changing.l am not knocking cpap machines in any way,they do what they are designed to do and mine had my condition under control. Not all patients have the option of an oral appliance,but after 10 yrs with my cpap l feel very fortunate to be able to make the switch. Thank you so much Dr. Rondeau and staff.

I came here with a locked jaw and I got an appliance and within 2-3 weeks my jaw was unlocked I have never been happier with service. the staff are so nice and friendly. thank you so much :)

Anyone who is considering consulting this man should know that he has been cautioned by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario for, among other things, making diagnoses that he is not qualified to make. You can look it up on the College website for yourself. Everyone should, before consulting anyone who works in a regulated profession, check to see if they have been disciplined or sanctioned in any way by their professional College. And then ask yourself whether you want to consult this person. There are lots of dentists in London.

Brought my daughter here for braces. After using an expander and then braces she is so happy with her beautiful straight teeth and stunning smile.
The staff are all very nice and knowledgeable.
I would definitely recommend Dr Rondeau and his staff.
