The office is nice, and the staff is pleasant, however I do not feel like Dr. Cole cares about me as a patient. I'm a type one diabetic, and I require insulin injections to stay alive along with lab work to see what my A1c is at. Earlier this year, my insurance refused to cover the main insulin I was taking unless they got a letter from my doctor explaining why I need that specific type of insulin. Dr. Cole didn't even bother with the letter and gave me a "just try this out and we'll go from there. I'll contact you in 3 months to get labs done."
That was in May.
It's now December. When I did get my lab work done, I had to call and ask about my results. They had to go and pull my file... And it STILL took the staff two extra weeks to find my results and relay them back to me. Needless to say, at the start of me t year when I get my new insurance card, I'm looking for a new doctor who will be my advocate with my medical needs against the insurance company.

So glad I found a great doc and staff so close to home

He is a young ,polite, thoughtful doctor. I am glad he is in Silverthorne and he appears to be genuine in providing good medical care and keeping costs to a minimum. Seems like a great guy but he looks like a snowboarder.
