I work in a healthcare profession where it's common to have musculoskeletal strains and injuries. I've been a patient of Dr. Prebeck for 10 years and would HIGHLY recommend him! I've referred many friends and coworkers to him and have always been thanked by the people I referred. Dr. Prebeck and his staff are caring, kind, responsive, and professional. Several years ago I was suffering with high blood pressure and numbness/tingling in my hands and arms.I had no risk factors for high blood pressure. Dr. Prebeck took an x-ray and recommended an MRI which my physician ordered. The alignment of C1/C2 was out. After a number of adjustments my blood pressure normalized and my doctor took me off blood pressure medication. About 2 years later my BP went up again. I returned to Dr. Prebeck and was able to avoid medication. Dr. Prebeck doesn't replace my MD, but in this case the pressure on my nerves was causing my high BP. Now with regular maintenance I am feeling good and my BP remains normal.

I have been a patient at Durham Chiropractic and Acupuncture Center for 9 years now. I tried 3 other doctors before finding Dr. Prebeck. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive to my needs. He has provided excellent care and spinal maintenance so I can maintain my mobility and reduce pain. I also accepted his acupuncture treatment when nothing else would get rid of my chronic headaches, and was happily surprised when they were literally gone within 20 minutes of treatment! His staff is warm and welcoming, the wait is minimum, they have after-work hours, and are flexible with scheduling and payment plans. I very strongly recommend Dr. Prebeck’s services! - Kathy A.

I went to visit them for extreme back pain. Dr. Prebeck took x-rays and told me that all 5 of my disks were slipped. I have been going to him for over two months and my back only got worse. I decided to go to a Orthopaedic Specialist. The Orthopaedic doctor took x-rays and informed me that my back was in perfect alignment. I had actually pulled my back muscles and Dr. Prebeck was making it worse with the treatment. They ordered me to take two sessions of PT and my back would get better within 4-6 weeks. Saying that I feel taken advantage of is an understatement!! I filled a formal complaint. I do not want to see what happened to me happen to anyone else.
