it is amazing how people's experiences can be so different. I find Dr. Patterson excellent in every respect and I have been seeing him for years. He has helped me in so many areas of my life. A s a female I have never detected any sense of impropriety.

Do not recommend. Dr did not follow protocol for examining female patient. "In general, the rule is to have a “chaperon” present to protect patients against possible sexual misconduct, and to make them feel more secure during intimate examinations. The official AMA guidelines state, “From the standpoint of ethics and prudence, the protocol of having chaperons available on a consistent basis for patient examinations is recommended.” Patient's report about lack of protocol was met with reply "I am sorry you feel that way." My reply was, "This is not about feelings; this is about accepted protocol."
