Was not impressed at all! He came into the room, barely came close enough to look at my skin, prescribed meds and told me to come back if not working. Then the nurse went over do’s and don’t and went straight into expensive laser treatment. I have not been able to get into to see him since, the only thing the nurses will schedule me for is laser consultation. My family doctor sent another referral to a different Dr because she was baffled by this as well. My overall impression of this doctor and office was money hungry trying to push laser treatment that most insurances do not cover.

Dr. Joseph couldn’t have been more professional, kinder and patient .. Took the time to explain everything and was very reassuring. Would recommend him anytime to anyone. Cannot understand the negative comments.

The arrogance and audacity of Dr. Coffey is unreal. I am reading the reviews about how timely the appointments are but I showed up early and was seen about half an hour after my scheduled time so I'm surprised by all the "run a tight ship" comments.. anyways, that's not my complaint. What I will say is the receptionist that checked me in was lovely.

This man treated me like I wasn't even a human being. I felt judged on my appearance. His curt, short, know it all attitude had me so shocked that I was lost for words. He told me incorrect information about a medication that I am on that if I had listened to his advice could cause serious future side affects. He also made me feel like I was diseased when he was looking me over and made me feel awful about even being there. Without knowing any of medical history, he made a lot of assumptions and I left feeling completely awful. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. I felt rushed, I couldn't ask any questions, and he gave me total misinformation that could cause me future harm. I don't understand how his ego could have gotten that big.. he doesn't even know how to treat you like a human being. Absolutely disgusted with my experience.

Hands down worst staff I have EVER dealt with. VERY Rude and unprofessional. Appointments being pushed off constantly. Doctor Coffey himself is rushy and don’t let you speak. He’s very arrogant. Had to go back to my GP (in tears) begging for a new referral for a different dermatologist, after being told I have to pay a 40$ fee in order to rebook when THEY messed up my appointments again. Calling the wrong phone number consistently after I asked them many times to correct it.

Is the worse Doctor in nl.This man only cares about one thing.money in his pocket. Look around his office and even before u get through he door its easy to see.More warning signs about the cost of missed appointment's then about covid.He told me he id the highest prescribing doctor of drugs that kill your immune system .Told him my own family doctor did not want me taking them.He laughed and said my family doctor should mind his own business.He keep me on those drugs for over a year and helped me 0 % but hurt my immune system god knows how much while he collects rewards from drug company's.My insurance was paying through nose for these shots that dont helped.When to another local dermatologist and he prescript some simple cream that solved my problem in a week.THIS MAN DON'T LISTEN TO PATIENTS HE JUST PRESCRIPTS THESE immune killer drugs THAT U BE SORRY FOR TAKING.MY ADVISE IS STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN AND SEEK ANOTHER.VERY DANGEROUS MAN. Other doctors around town know this and have low opinion of him..be warned.

I went in for hair loss, and I had okay experience. Dr Coffey is very informational & straight forward with your diagnose, however you are in and out in no time. My only problem is, they don’t listen to their patient well. I’ve decided to call them again 8 months later. The nurses are rude. They dismiss your problem & will remind you Dr Coffey is confident with his diagnose. All because I ask for a biopsy, I was flat out denied at that time.

Depends on what you go in for, you may get a better luck than I did.

He’s okay. you’ll get an appointment fairly fast though if your docto refer you to him. However I’ve had better dermatologist in the past.

I can't believe those negative reviews. I had really bad psoriasis for years and Dr. Coffey is the only dermatologist that went out of his way to help me. He got me approved for a very expensive biologic that I would never be able to afford. He and his staff are sweethearts :)

Staff were friendly. The doctor immediately diagnosed my condition and answered all of my questions in a professional manner. I did not feel rushed at all.

If I could give the receptionist ZERO stars, I would. I called the office to see when I could drop off a form that I needed signed & the female receptionist was EXTREMELY rude. Once the conversation was over I honestly couldn’t even believe the tone she was speaking in to me & wished that I had speaker activated so that the people in my home could have witnessed it. Unprofessional, & I will NEVER rebook here. People like this make a bad name for a great doctor dermatologist. Time for him to reconsider his front line team because the service I received today was horrendous.

Office staff is incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Nurse was arrogant and condescending, spoke as though she knew everything when she clearly didn’t. Dr didn’t even look at me for more than a minute before he said he wouldn’t do anything for me and then rushed out the door as I tried to ask questions. Full of himself, judgemental, rude and made me feel like a bother. Absolute waste of time.
