Unethical and inappropriate at times. Scare tactics and threats were often used in place of appropriate therapeutic strategies.

Our experience was much the same as these two reviews. Our daughter became steadily worse while seeing Leslie and when I tried to talk with her about it, Leslie basically told me that I needed therapy myself. She violated privacy practices by talking about my daughter in front of others and when I called her on it she again suggested I was the one with the problem and needed therapy. She continually wanted to increase the number of times per week my daughter was to be seen even though my daughter didn't want to go. When I told her I wanted to get a second opinion because my daughter was getting worse, she told me that NO other therapists can tell when kids are lying... but she can. Her billing practices are ridiculous. She at one point told me my daughter was going to need therapy for at least another TEN years. We finally left and my daughters new therapist treated my child appropriately and we had a good result. My daughter later told me that Leslie would hound her about what "dark" thoughts my child was having, and even when she told Leslie she wasn't having these thoughts, Leslie asked her again and again until she just gave up and agreed. It took several months for my child to return to normal after this very disturbing experience. If I could give negative stars, I would.

We took our teenage daughter here for post-traumatic stress treatment following an accident. In our experience Ms. Gibb was unprofessional and unethical. She continually tried to convince our daughter she had other issues and feelings that our daughter truly did not feel she had. She felt bullied and belittled by this woman and often left the office feeling worse than before she went to her appointment. We respectfully requested a recommendation to a different provider that might be a better fit. Ms. Gibb vehemently refused and then left several voicemails on our daughters’ phone belittling her for her choice to see someone else. We feel her business practices are unethical as we too had the experience of this woman threatening collections when she took it upon herself to schedule appointments in spite of the fact that we told her in advance that our daughter was unavailable. We truly wish we would have never gotten involved with her.

Leslie Gibb practices improper billing practices. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals office in the State of Washington, the Better Business Bureau, and anywhere online that I can leave a review about this thereapist. I strongly encourage you to seek another therapist who won't wrongly bill you and then threaten to send you to collections.
