He is a brilliant doctor, full of humor but caring and concerned for the patients overall welfare. He cared for me when I suffered with Crohns Disease and directed me for life saving surgery at Vanderbilt in Knoxville. This gave me my life back. I was SO sad to hear he was retiring from his practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Gholson for about 2003 and have been very happy with him. At first, I did not have insurance and didn't have much money, so he hooked me up with a LOT of samples to get me through the hard times. He also did a procedure on my throat when my throat closed up. He basically saved my life. I have been seeing Gholson now for 5 years and he is just a super nice guy. Outgoing and concerned, too. Highly recommended!
