This dentist has caused me more issues than I have ever had in my life !! As a sufferer of TMJ when I heard that switching to the bite plate that she could offer me would cause me less days of sore, tired jaws, I was all in. My current bite plate was working fine though. I got this bite plate and I would clench all night. I broke a tooth off, I fractured a tooth which got infected and I needed a root canal. During these procedures, Ive never had the epinephrine from the freezing go systemic, but it did for the first time in my 25 years of dental work with her. My heart started racing, I got nauseated, weak and flushed. It obviously feels horrible. So we agreed no epi next time. The next time I was in for dental work she did it again, even though I said "NO EPI". How can you trust someone that wont even listen to you ? When I came in with a sore abscess tooth, I told her that last time this happened they were unable to freeze me because it is infected and once the infection is somewhat cleared I could be freezed, she proceeded to stab my cheek about 10+ times. After about 5 times, I said it isnt working could we please stop. She said we might as well try a few more while we have you here. Seriously? I paid $200 for an emergency visit so you could poke my cheek and accomplish nothing besides making me more sore. She sent me to a specialist to deal with this said root canal since it was on a back tooth, and she had the nerve to say that I could benefit from some nitro because I was "nervous".....are you kidding me? Im not nervous, you just clearly dont know what youre doing. Moral of the story, if you want to save money, sick days from work ,pain and frustration, do not go to her. I should have noticed that a dentist you can get into that easily is a red flag..... she has no clients!!!!! Lastly, her dental hygienist staff are wonderful. If you only need a cleaning or a adjustment of your current bite plate, go see the dental hygienists! The only redeeming quality about this practice. So sad that they have to work with her.
