Dr Pereira is a great surgeon. He's very thorough he explains everything he's very patient and thorough. His staff on the other hand not so well. Emails take two weeks to be answered only to give a negative answer. The receptionist is rude. It just seems like there's no communication amongst them in that office. Also if you have an appointment with Dr plan on being there at least 4 hours he is always behind. And his assistance tell you this right up front.

Dr. Pereira is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. I had a full hip replacement in May 2021. Before my surgery Dr. Pereira fully explained what needed to be done to repair my fractured hip socket. Not only did he need to replace my right hip socket he needed to move it down parallel with my left hip socket. As I was entering the surgery room he told me, "This is my workshop.". In surgery Dr. Pereira did more than he thought was needed to reinforce my hip socket. After surgery he spent time with my wife explaining with drawings of his completed work. We highly recommend Dr. Gavin Pereira!

Dr Pereira took the time to explain the knee replacement process. I enjoyed working with his staff. May stay in the hospital was two days and the nurses that care for me was professional, helpful, and friendly

Dr. Pereira did hip replacement surgery for me. I recovered in about 6 weeks, had barely any pain, no complications, and the scar is so small, most people would not notice it. He took a lot of time discussing the surgery in terms of my preferred prosthetic and his staff did amazing orientation and prep work. I felt well-cared-for throughout and very informed as to what to expect. All went as expected and my life has been hugely improved by my new hip. I am completely thrilled with the outcome.
