Saw Dr. Dombrowski for left frozen shoulder. He gave me cortisone injection and sent me to PT. Avoided surgery and 100 percent healed within 4 months. Knowledgable, straight to the point doctor. Go prepared with your homework questions. He is busy a sign of a doctor in demand, but excellent diagnostician. His expertise does not always require physical exam, he knows answers from years of experience or MRI/XRay evidence immediately! If you want a social visit see a counselor. Want to be healed? Definitely see him.

I had a great experience with Dr. Dombrowski several years ago (he fixed my knee when GPs couldn't figure out what was up) so I went to him this time for hip pain. He showed me on the Xray where things were bad and explained all my options. He said that eventually I'm looking at hip replacement but not necessarily right away. In the meantime he prescribed medication and physical therapy; he also gave me a leaflet describing the hip replacement procedure. Very knowledgeable, gave good answers to my questions, and I have every confidence in him. I saw none of the impatience that others have described.

Had three appointments for my hip. First gave me a prescription for arthritis even though the x-ray shown I didn't have it. Returned 30 days later (as he suggested) because the pain had not subsided. He asked me what I wanted to do. I'm no doctor so I asked him what my options were. I asked for a cortisone shot because he had no other suggestions. Came back again (another 30 days)because the shot didn't help. Finally prescribed PT which did give me some relief. While I was at two of the apt I explained how my knee's would slip out of line causing much pain and discomfort. He looked at them and told me they were perfect and didn't know why that was happening. Told me to exercise which I already did. I recently hurt my left knee (which are suppose to be perfect) and I wont be going back to him. Waste of time.

This Doctor hardly spent time in listening to me. I drove an hour from my office and waited more 30 minutes to see him and he hardly saw me for 5 minutes. He seem disinterested in listening and knowing my problem. Its been 2 months and 3 visits but his attitude has not changed and nor has my discomfort. I am changing my doctor and do not recommend this doctor to any one

Scheduled appointment to check out my knee discomfort/pain. Very cursory questioning, told me I should be working out, then backed off when I told him I had been working with a personal trainer for a previous back injury. Very dismissive and condescending attitude about my concerns (I had an overseas trip coming up in a month). Visibly irritated that I asked questions. Told me to ice my knee 5x a day for 20 minutes at a time, no exercise except for 2 different stretches, and put a shot of cortisone into the side of my knee. Done - out the door. Needless to say, I found a new doctor!

I fractured my clavicle and at the suggestion of my ED Dr. scheduled an appt with Dr Dombrowski. He was unavailable so I was seen by his Physician Assitant who reviewed the x rays taken at the ED and said that surgery was indeed indicated and therefore he scheduled an appointment for me to see the doctor the next day. Upon a brief examination Dr D indicated that he had not operated on a collarbone in 20 years and do not intend to do so in my case. So much for the two previous opinions (one from his staff). Visited another surgeon the same day and he said given my age and physical activity level and the damage on the x ray I was definitely a candidate for surgery. So that made it 3 to 1 in favor of surgery.

I went to an urgent care facility and learned that I broke a bone in my foot completely in half. The facility gave me crutches, taped my toe and put me in a temporary soft "shoe". I was advised to stay off of it or I will injure it more. I came to Dr. Dombrowski just 2 days after the initial injury. He only looked at one xray and seemed annoyed when I told him there were more on the disk. I took the protective boot off my foot for him to look, and he barely looked- did not even remove the tape the Urgent Care facility did. He told me that I did not need surgery (which I did not expect to need) and told me "whatever the other doctor told you was fine." I told him they told me to stay off of it- he told me to walk on it. I told him it was too painful, he told me "It shouldn't be". He then prescribed me medication that upon my further research is for Arthritis. Stay away.

Went to Dr. Dombroski for a knee injury. He wasn't inquisitive at all and rushed me out of the door. He took about 5 minutes to see me, while I waited almost an hour to see him. Wasn't very helpful and simply prescribed me meds to get me out the door.

Very knowledgeable. Dr Dombrowski took his time to evaluate my son and recommend a course of treatment. Excellent choice for an orthopaedic, I would use him again.

I went in for problems with my hip. While I was still clothed,he just poked his finger into my hip and asked me if it hurt. That was the extent of my exam.He ordered an X-ray. He reviewed my X-ray and said that I had no broken bones,I asked if we should get an MRI for my hip. He stated no, and ordered an MRI for my back with no explanation that I understood for the reason behind it. He appeared agitated that I tried to ask questions. He ended the appointment.I felt that the appointment was a complete waste of time.
